Management has changed many times in the short time that we have lived here. Maintenance always seems to be understaffed and overworked which makes work orders sometimes take weeks and months to get resolved. The playground equipment is unsafe and extremely outdated for children. This will likely be our last year living here; rent is much too expensive for what we are getting.

I do like the neighborhood and community. The apartment units are average, it is strange that everyone pays (very) different rates for the exact same unit. There has been a high turn over rate of management in the short time that I have been here. Maintenance also has a high turn over rate and as a result requests can take a long time to complete.

I enjoy that we are close to stores, parks, restaurants, and schools. I have seen the apartment community decline since my move in last summer. There is poop everywhere, the grass is dead from over watering, and the play equipment is breaking. My rent is way too high for the quality of my apartment (and I pay the highest rate of any of my surrounding neighbors for a smaller space). I received a notice for several violations that had been “reported” yet most of them were not applicable to me and when I called management they were short and somewhat rude to me about my concerns. I avoid contacting management unless it’s urgent as I don’t generally enjoy my interactions with them.

The community is nice, although there have been some safety concerns recently as I heard gunshots one night and the following night had the K-9 unit outside my front door. The cleanliness of the unit upon moving in was disappointing. I am also dealing with a major ant infestation now less than three weeks after moving in.
