First of all, the customer service at this apartment is non-existent! My lease recently expired, need-less to say I wasn´t going to renew. I received a final utility in mid October, which was to be paid by the end of my lease, which was the end of November. On November 5th, I received a hand delivered letter stating that I owed the Mirage on Camelback $107.00 and that I needed to pay ASAP or they would take legal action. I paid my rent on the 1st, so had no idea to what this was in reference to. When I called to inquire, I was advised that this was in reference to my final utility bill, and that the manager purposely used that stationary rush tenants to make payments, even though she did acknowledge that I didn´t owe this amount for another 3 weeks. One week later, I received another letter from the manager stating that she didn´t want to keep pestering me on the amount due, and again requested that payment be received ASAP. Frustrated with this, I just went ahead a wrote out this check, and dropped it in the overnight mail drop. Later that night I realized that I overwrote the check by $32.00, since I had paid one of the utility bills earlier in October. I immediately called the office, and left a voice mail advising of this, and requested that the check be voided when they received it, and to call me and I will write out a new check. This never happened, and when I called to inquire I was told that my check was posted the next day. I then advised of my voice mail to the leasing office, and asked if they would write me a check for the overage amount. I was told they are unable to do that, and if there is money owed to me upon my check-out that it will be mailed to me at that time. <br>(They want to be paid ASAP, but when the roles reversed, and the tenant is owed, they have to wait!) Interesting enough, when my final walk-though was done they ended up charging me $10.00 for two holes in the walls, $7.00 for a drip pan, and $15.00 for a refrigerator cleaning! Now what´s funny is my refrigerator was not dirty! The amount due to them was $32.00! That is the exact amount I owed them. Hmmm. <br>Also to mention, there is no heat provided at this complex, the chillers in the apartments are grossly DIRTY! If you take a look inside the chiller in the apt., it is completely COVERED with dust! I´m sure this is the main reason why I´d wake up congested every morning. <br>In closing, there is other apartments in this area, and I would seriously suggest looking elsewhere to rent.
