First of all lets everyone keep in mind that these apartments were built in 1969, which means that there not going to be perfect. Also lets keep in mind that the management has to rent to whoever qualifies. Which means that the people everyone is complaining about has the same qualifications that the complainers have. Also if you would read your lease it says that they pay for the main electricity you have to pay for the sockets. The lease also states that the management is not responsible for your vehicle being stolen or broken into. Very few management companies will take this responsibility even at the most glamorous complexes. I wouldn´t say that the office staff is horrible, there busy. With 600 units and half of them bitching about something how are they supposed to react. I have been in the office when one of my "classy" neighbors came in and started screaming at the poor girl in the front. Keep in mind that when the manager isn´t there the leasing people have very little control over management decisions. Also compared to the rent of some apartments in the Biltmore area I wouldn´t complain about what you are getting. $599 a month is impossible to find in this area. Also in case you haven´t watched the news lately crime is every where. and if you would read your lease, which most of you haven´t, Mirage has a "courtesy" officer not a security officer. He doesn´t carry a gun and is there to make sure everything gets locked up at night. Maybe if your neighbors wouldn´t steal the computers and destroy the laundry room things wouldn´t have to be locked so early. And if I recall the story of the FBI investigation with the child porn, that is in no way the managments fault. It was one of your very special neighbors who qualified to live there just like you did:) Now I wouldn´t say that the mirage is the most desirable place to live but for a 1969, 600 unit, Biltmore location with $599 rent its pretty damn good. And I have to agree with MR Class. If you don´t like it get a job and buy a house because you won´t be happy anywhere. <br> <br>Amanda
