AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

If you´re interested in having crackheads, pimps, gang-bangers, meth freaks as neighbors - go for it. You´d be hardpressed to find a better aggregation point that this sh_thole! <br> <br>This place is an absolute embarrasement to the Camelback region. Camelback connotates, "The Biltmore", "Phoenician", "Arcadia", "Mummy Mountain", "Paradise Valley", etc. You will find no sanctuary in this downtrodden slum. <br> <br>I lived at Mirage in 2002, and this is what I witnessed: <br>- people FULLY CLOTHED jumping in the pool (basically doing their laundry) <br>- cigarette butts floating in the pool <br>- full-on misdirected redneck hostility <br>- rotten carpets and rotten sheetrock in the hallways that would make a resident of a Mexican shanty town blush <br>- shattered windshields in the underground carports indicating break ins. <br>- trash beyond compare in the underground and outdoor carports. <br>- the putrid smell of a home cooked meal gone bad as one walks the halls. <br>- gnats in the shower drains, sinks and refrigerators <br>- rusted water, no scratch that, a constant supply of RED WATER <br>- mildew and corrosion in, on, and around the shower door <br>- the lovely smell of pet infused carpet <br>- etc. <br> <br>The most hilarious aspect to this whole property is the makeover they are currently trying to give this place - as if you can shine dog sh_t. I´m sorry, but replacing carpet, giving an apartment a new coat of paint, and offering a much needed microwave and dishwasher - just doesn´t impress. Especially if there are SO MANY FANTASTIC places in the area to choose from. <br> <br>Plus, as said in the many other comments, management blows, and has a very supportive "you´re on your own" policy. (I´m being facetious here). They are probably scared of any possible retaliation their astute clientele would inflict upon them. <br> <br>My recommendation would be to knock down this structure and put up a strip mall. <br> <br>I´ve seen a post (or two) that would disagree from this with the vast majority concurring. Chances are the positive comment was a friend of the management trying to cover their ---. My advice is to look for trends in the comments - and make up your own opinions. <br> <br>AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
