The studio apartment feels bigger that what the square footage is listed as, it's comfortable inside the unit and renovated. I am glad they are so pet friendly and have been accommodating with my Emotional Support Animals. I like that it is so close to my work and located in a decent neighborhood, as well as a mile from Camelback Mountain and 12 minutes from the airport. The renovations are a bit hurried, careless and sloppy, I moved into a newly renovated apartment (no one lived in it prior to me once they renovated it), there were gouges in the flooring, parts of the counter aren't properly secured, handles are a little crooked on the cabinets, the shelving inside the cabinets is not very sturdy. The trim along the floorboards has gaps and the bottom of the door (when they has the doors cut) has a huge gap underneath it (about 1-1 1/2 of a gap) that I approached the office managers about when I first moved in, I requested it to be fixed or to have a new door and all they had maintenance do was to move the weather strip on the door down. I now put a blanket at the bottom of my door to block the light from the hallway from coming in as well as to hopefully prevent any bugs from coming in. The halls echo terribly and you can hear everything that goes on in the building, whether it's your next door neighbor, someone arguing down the hall, someone slamming their door 8 doors down or someone on the floor above you or below you, and it certainly doesn't help having super noisy neighbors.The outside could use better upkeep as well. I have two dogs but only allow them to go to the bathroom on the grass and some bushes/trees. The complex smells of dog urine, it echoes terribly outside too, the locks on the gates to the pool and fitness/office areas need to be updated/changed as the keys only work on the locks some of the time. There is quite a bit of litter around the complex as well. The valet trash service is a nice thing to have however, they pick up the trash around 10:30 - 11:00pm and are very noisy. I don't like that you can't control the Heat and A/C on your own for each unit, the complex controls when it is turned on and off. I was not told when I moved in that there had been a fire in the building I moved into prior to the renovation (that is why the renovation took place) I found out by doing my move in inspection and seeing black, smokey smudges along the edges of the ceiling in my studio apartment and my boyfriend got online and read reviews about the complex that had mentioned the fire. The fitness area could use some updated equipment and more sanitation wipes/stations, there are always at least 2 (of 4) treadmills down at all times. The laundry room (I use the one in my building, C) it has machines that only work half of the time, have buttons that don't work, doors that don't close or when you pour the detergent/softener into the dispenser, it doesn't even go into the machine, instead it leaks down the front of the machine and creates a puddle on the floor, leaving a mess and a waste of your personal laundry supplies. The carpeted hallways do not get cleaned or vacuumed hardly at all either. There are only two ladies in the office who seem friendly (Sheri and the lady who sits next to her), one of the ladies (who has the desk in the middle of the office that faces the room where packages are picked up) I think her name is Melissa or Marissa, is not very approachable or friendly. I have encountered her only 2 or 3 times myself but she never seems like she is in a good mood, always cranky. I went in to pick up a package a couple of weeks ago from the office and she was shouting at the other office ladies regarding their schedules and being extremely bossy, she never stopped or quieted down when myself or other residents entered the office, very unprofessional.

Meanwhile I will have all the machines checked in the laundry room and if there are any deficiencies, we will have our vendor address. Regarding the pool gates, our maintenance team checks all the gates for proper closing and latching at least couple times per week and addresses any possible issues at hand, so I apologize if we missed anything.
