Honest Opinion...

I moved in here in August, 2002., and currently live there. I chose to live in one of the "Classic" models, as I am saving for a house. The rent was cheap, and it is close to work. I have experienced some MAJOR challenges in the months that I have been living there. I agree with some earlier reviews which state that the staff has some major issues with their customer service. Please contact me via email if you would like to discuss any events. Overall, this place is the epitomy of a low-rate living. If I had to do it again, I would live somewhere else. Here are some details of my experience: <br> <br>Safety: I have lived in this facility on 2 separate occasions. My car has been broken into both times! I drive a Ford Contour, not a flashy SUV. After I approached the staff to file a report, the staff showed no empathy for the situation. They told me they would follow up with to write a report in Monday. I never received a follow up. <br> <br>Construction: The apartments are older, but you get what you pay for. The carpets are funky and it does smell. There is animal excrement scattered over the common areas, as people don´t clean up after their pets. The machines in the laundry tend to only work half of the time. Also, the "Classic" apts. can not get DSL or cable. The only cable available is the one that the building provides (21 channels of basic). <br> <br>Service: There was an abandoned vehicle in the parking area for a month. When the plates expired, I contacted the staff. They told me that they were goiong to take care of it. I had to call once a week for a month for them to do anything. The van was filthy, a soiled mattress was tied to the top, and it was parked in the closest spot to the building. <br> <br>Neighbors: One occasion, somebody left their large dog locked on the balcony all night long. The large dog proceeded to bark the whole night. When I called and talked to the Staff, they said, "that´s at you get for living in the older apartments". The older partments has a lot of strange tenants. From the college kids, to the family of 6 living in a one bedroom apt., to the neighbors who thought it was funny to direct their laser pointer in my apt. all night, the place has it all. <br>
