Excellent location to all most major activity centers and restaurants in the Valley.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mirage staff is friendly and helpful. They promote gatherings so the tenets can have fun meeting one another, too.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Rated a lesser crime area of Phoenix and next  beautiful desert, open-space areas such as Squaw Peak and Camelback (Echo Mtn) hiking areas. Minutes away from two nationally recognized, up-scale, shopping centers. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The property has many amenties including an Olympic swimming pool, outdoor spa, tennis court, computer-cafe, physical fitness center and beautifully decorated rental offices. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Finally, extensive renovation continues in updating this older, yet well built fortress.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Perhaps those that find too many problems here might reflect on how they could add to being a better tenet and neighbor. In the last year, I&#180;ve witnessed management working to fix the problems that have been reported. TThanks also to housekeeping and maintenance.

Phoenix-Mesa-AZ-MSA

I have been a resident for 1 year&#44; and have had some good experiences and some bad experiences here. 

First moving in&#44; I was very annoyed by the $250 fee for having a cat along with $25 a month pet rent (the rent I expected). Mind you&#44; if my cat does do any damage to the apartment the fee does NOT cover it. It is just extra income for them. 

The first floor smells like garbage all summer because of the garbage shoots in every building. In my location&#44; on the second floor&#44; it is smell free. They roll the dumpsters out three times a week to the parking lot at 7:30 am. (if you are still sleeping you will be shaken out of bed because it is WAY louder than the leaf blowers on lawn care day). You will quickly learn where not to park on those days&#44; as they pile the dumpster behind cars&#44; and if you want to be to work on time you may have to move 3-5 dumpsters in order to back out. 

As many other reviewers have pointed out&#44; the water was a HUGE problem this winter. There were several months without consistant water / hot water. The office made up for this by taking water payment off our bill for 1 month (about $25).

Danielle in the off is quite rude&#44; watch out for her. Greystar does not really seem the care. I called them with my latest issue and have not heard back. I will update this if they actually do something to make my situation right.

On positive note&#44; My apartment is nice and cheap for the area. I love the location. I have had 17 maintenance requests in my year here (air conditioning broke 4 times&#44; heating 3&#44; water leaking through my ceiling 2 times). The maintenance team is awesome and fixes the issue quickly.  The pool is nice&#44; but VERY crowded most weekends. The residents are quiet and respectful most the time and there are few kids living there.

Side note - My building reeks of weed most days and I am sure there are others drugs around by the looks of some of my neighbors. (cops are in the parking lot about once a month). Over all as a 25 year old female living a lone I feel safe in my apartment and the parking lot at night. There is 24-hour security and a lot of people around.

I am not renewing a full lease again.

I have lived in quite a few cities&#44; in amazing neighborhoods and apartment living is always the same.  There will always be annoying neighbors&#44; people who don&#39;t clean up after their pets&#44; bad parking&#44; etc. To be honest&#44; people in Phoenix should be happy that they HAVE parking.  The Capri&#39;s staff is fantastic&#44; the maintenance comes to fix things right away&#44; the price is good&#44; the pool is fabulous&#44; the workout facilities are bigger than anywhere I have ever been and everyone who lives here seems great.  Plus&#44; you can&#39;t beat the fact that you are right by Camelback Mountain&#44; the Canal running path&#44;a couple great grocery stores&#44; the bus&#44; some amazing restaurants&#44; you&#39;re close to downtown Scottsdale and it&#39;s a safe neighborhood.  If you can&#39;t handle the noise of an apartment complex or the occasional fire alarm&#44; then you should seriously think about buying/renting a house.  This isn&#39;t a retirement community&#44; it&#39;s a large complex with a lot of people.  I love it here!

If you can&#39;t handle apartment living&#44; buy a house.

First instinct was a beautiful pool and people gathering around. Little store on the side that would and has come in handy a few times. Parking right outside your building and green grassy areas plentiful for our little puppy to play on. Right ? WRONG ... WRONG ... WRONG... When you sign the dotted line and begin to settle in&#44; you start to see all that is hidden. The beautiful pool is not so beautiful but awful. Jump in come on... Just so your hair can stink of WAY to much chemicals&#44; it smelled like a sewer an I had to wash my hair out again and again. GROSS number one. Number two GROSS the people gathered about the pool were only gathering to deal and smoke and take drugs. Weed is the current smell of their day at the pool. Nice atmosphere ! Little store on the side ah ... way to expensive and most things are out dated. GROSS number three. Number four parking&#44; well lets see... walking a whole parking lot to and from your apt. is crazy. There is never close parking as cars so called &#34;not abandoned&#34; hog the stall closest to the building. STUPID ... Playful grassy areas&#44; FILLED WITH DOG SHIT... forgot to mention that one... look closer... animals poop all over&#44; like I want my puppy eating that crap from some irresponsable dog owner. 
Last ... the freaken ROACHES... Im a clean person. An I have had my house ... namely my kitchen infested in Roaches. Disgusting right... Crawling on my feet as I am trying to cook. One was in my cereal when I poured it in the morning. NICE right ... SOUNDS DREAMY... Killing them left to right ! Maintance was called and yes kudos to maintance they are fantastic. But in the event to pull my fridge out. I must have seen a hand full run ... RUN FOREST RUN... This place is disgusting. If you want to live with these friends that GROSS people bring in. OH YES PLEASE DO MOVE IN TO CAPRI ON CAMELBACK.... YOU WILL LOVE YOUR LITTLE SCURRYING RED ENORMOUS FRIENDS... !

The management team is difficult to work with. Black mold in apartments as well.

BED BUGS BITE!!! Only gave a one star rating since negative zero stars was not an option. Saw a doctor and was prescribed a creme to treat all the red swollen welts that covered my entire body head to toe (literally) from bed bug bites after a visit to an apartment located near the center staircase on the 3rd floor of Building D (building is located on the southeast end of the apartment complex facing Camelback Rd.). Also saw a ginormous roach in the hallway. Management tried to blame the occupant of the unit for the bed bug infestation although there are other reviews prior to mine citing bed bugs at this apartment complex going back a few years. They will claim the place has been treated and is safe but the bugs will continue to return even after multiple pest control treatments. Enter at your own risk. This place is a health hazard. Update 8/17/2018 Shared the above post on Capri&apos;s claimed yelp page and somehow they had it removed so apparently they are trying to suppress this information from getting out??? Shady place.

Let&apos;s see.. When I initially moved in i did not have hot water for the first two weeks of living here, I sent two requests to fix what was going on with the shower before Someone came to fix it and even still the spout is constantly leaking water. There is a HORRENDOUS cockroach problem, which I again had to contact the office twice to fix, and the third time I saw the exterminator.. he had told me that the office said that it was a rat problem, so he only put out rat traps. I had to actually pay for, and treat the apartment on my own And even after that I found a TWO 3&quot; cockroaches under my couch..After that, the &apos;A/C&apos; went out for 1.5 months the reply I got was that it was a chiller system, and it just wasn&apos;t going to get any cooler. So I went out and got a portable And with my portable air conditioner running.. it is 86 DEGREES in my apartment with the highest being 89 degrees. My &apos;brand new&apos; refrigerator went out and spoiled ALL of the food I had inside of it. Instead of just replacing the broken fridge.. they went and just put a SECOND one in my dining room, effectively blocking my pantry, knocking everything off my walls, and leaving it for close to a week at this point. Then the ceiling was leaking 3 streams of water that took 5 days for them to come out and look at, there was water pouring into my electrical socket, and the light switch, it caused mold in my couch, my bed, and me physically ill. If that wasn&apos;t bad enough, they STILL won&apos;t let me out of my lease or pay for ANY of my damages, and the staff won&apos;t even just apologize. They just handed me a card for their lawyer. Please avoid this place. Don&apos;t make the same mistake I did.

I have nothing but positive things to say. The office is super helpful, there is security that actually walks around and pays attention. Im a single mom but i feel very safe here. My neighbors are great the space is amazing for the price. I have never been happier.

Think twice before moving here itâ€™s miserably hot because they donâ€™t let you control the a/c until the summer. Itâ€™s nothing you can do about it because they only let you control the heat until the summer. I got this apartment because the price was reasonable but paying $1400 for a one bedroom apartment and not being able to control your A/C is not it. I just want to help people not make the same mistake as me because Iâ€™ve been burning up in the apartment for awhile and the fans donâ€™t make it any better when itâ€™s this hot. Before you move here I hope you take in consideration what I said.
