Resident 2014 - 2015

I LOVE this place and the management staff! Everyone is very helpful, accommodating and nice. You can either be reclusive and never have anyone bother you, or be more involved with the community- like happy hours, poolside massage, yoga, etc. It's very quiet - I never hear my neighbors - every once in a while I'll hear their dogs barking - but it IS a community after all. I like that. I feel like I have been respected and treated well and can easily have friends over occasionally and never have any issues. Jessica, Jennifer, and Bryan are the best! Always there to help out, assist, and quick with any maintenance issues. The only "complaint" I have is that for "luxury" apartments, the owners did skimp on things and go "cheap", like smaller-than-normal refrigerators, no sprayer on the kitchen sink. Small things...but important details when calling your business "luxury rentals". Otherwise, if you want a safe, quiet, nice-sized town home with garage and excellent management this is your new home!

I have lived in many different apartment complexes and Cobalt is far above the rest! When I moved into the apartment it was pristine, everything was super clean. I love all the appliances and the great counter tops. The best thing about the Cobalt is the staff. The apartment manager Jessica is amazing, she will bend over backwards to accomadate her tenants. If you bring an issue to her attention she will address it ASAP! I love Cobalt and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

My husband and I started staying here in a brand new townhouse for a year and we have renewed our lease because we love the place. We have looked around at other places close by, and I would say that this one is by far the best. They have pretty looking townhouses within a gated community. The management is very friendly and is always helpful, especially Jessica, Brian and Jennifer. The location is perfect, close to the 101 and 51.

I live in the complex next door to Cobalt. It was a nice quiet neighborhood before Cobalt - we can never leave our windows open because all we hear is screaming children on the other side of the wall ALL DAY long! Oh and their classless parents scream, too! It is absolutely awful. we could never sell because who would buy a house where you have to listen to this all day! There is a common area but they insist on playing outside their garage which is right outside my house. It is just terrible! Cobalt never planted trees between our property to block the noise either - so inconsiderate as there was supposed to be "green space" between the two properties.

We moved here in September. The management is very nice and very efficient. I have been pleasantly surprised by the fact that I never hear neighbors on either side of me, and I assume that it is because of the floor plans keeping common living areas away from each other. I am not sure why anyone would complain about the management because I stop in frequently and they have always been friendly. Once I had a leak and it was fixed immediately. The grounds are very nicely landscaped. The garages have ample space. I see complaints about parking but we each have garages so that doesn't really affect me. Location is perfect, so many places are very close. Ie Costco, gas stations, Frys, Albertsons, Desert Ridge shopping center, PV mall. Subway and a couple of sports bars are within walking distance. Also the rent, while it is in the pricier range, I would rather pay a little more and be surrounded by people who have passed extensive background checks and can afford a little more than to live in a pretty to look at, but cheap priced complex full of criminals and shady neighbors. You get what you pay… See More>

My wife and I have lived at Cobalt on 32nd for 8 months and have been very pleased. We have a great unit, with lots of sunshine. The community is relatively small and has a nice quiet and secluded feel, even though the location is great with easy access to the 101 and 51. We have had no maintenance issues since the first week we moved in and those were corrected quickly. The staff, specifically Jessica and Brian, are very professional and friendly. The two car garage is wonderful and the fact that all units have a single or two car garage keeps the property looking less like an apartment complex and more like a single family housing community. The units are a little pricey for the quality of materials in the units, but the fact that they are new makes up for that. We have been very pleased and would highly recommend Cobalt on 32nd.

Poor management customer service. No one there cares about you as a current or previous tenant. As a previous tenant, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It is so important these days to be honest and have a mutual respect as management and tenants. They do nothing but lie and cheat you out of your money. There is such poor communication and they ALL talk down to you. The community looks great and well maintained, but is very deceiving. There are better places to rent from as management is one of the more important things you should look for when finding a place to live. Hope this helps someone in making a decision and good luck!!

We moved in in March and at first it was perfect, now the place is so filled with residents, there is NO parking EVER, so we have to park in front of the garage, where we get notices saying we cannot do that, But if the office staff looked around for 2 seconds they would see a lot of people are having to do this due to the lack of space. We live in the Indigo which is the smallest floorpan, DO NOT RENT THIS FLOORPAN! Your whole living space is over 3 garages, one which is yours and 2 others which belong to your neighbors, where they will go in and out 1000 times a day! It is the most annoying thing EVER. its very loud and will wake you up. Also, we live right by a dumpster, so EVERY wednesday and Sat morning when the trash man comes its seriously as if some one is bulldozing a building. It is SO LOUD and not pleasing. I would consider breaking my lease just because of this dilemma. We lost our mailbox key and one of the staff members said she would call me the same day with info on… See More>

I moved in here in march. It was quiet at first then the complex started filling up. I thought this place would be different considering we pay almost $1600 a month. There is a huge lack of parking and the management could care less. The landscaping needs major help as well as the only grassy area is like a swamp. At 6 pm one day I caught 2 homeless ppl going through all the trash that was In the nearest dumpster. A few nights ago we woke up to someone else going through the trash, and I believe it was one of our neighbors collecting cans. I spoke with another neighbor who also witnessed this and they complained to the management. This is what James told her:"ppl have to do what they can to put food on their table", Seriously??? James, you should be ashamed of yourself for telling a resident this. He also said that they can't afford to get security because we don't pay enough in rent, um hello some of us pay $1600 a month! And what about the break ins that have happened to the units up… See More>

Wow! I've been here two months (June 15, 2014), and I do NOT agree with the previous reviews. Maybe Pinnacle has listened to the reviews and changed their policies.... 1. plenty of good lighting in parking lots - I always feel safe when walking around at night 2. what I love is you never hear your neighbors, and that is a real sore spot with me when living in an apartment (coming from being a homeowner for the last 30 years) 3. I have only had two maintenance issues, and the response time has been more than appropriate each time. Both issues were resolved to my satisfaction 4 I haven't heard about a sign up list in the work out room.....I use it with no problem 5. I don't live on the Union Hills side of the complex so can't give my opinion or feedback. I live a couple buildings in and have had no problems 6 the pool is small, and can get a little crowded with small children. However this is not a problem on which I would base my decision to move here or not 7. parking can be an issue. However I… See More>

There has been multiple cases of lack of respect for the current residents in this complex. We are paying top dollar and they can not respond to the needs of us. When you pay for a complex that touts itself as "LUXURY" one would expect that they would actually offer luxury. We have homeless people going through the trash because the gate is always broken. As for the construction is concerned it has been one lie after another. This place was a very nice place but now it is clearly about the money. A question to management, where are the quests to park now when there is 90 units and less than stalls for guest? DO NOT RENT FROM THIS DUMP!

I loved living here when we originally moved into this small well-maintained, friendly complex. Unfortunately, it has not remained the same since the new management company took over. The staff is out right rude & speaks to us like we are children. If you need any type of maintenance, buckle down for a long wait. If you are looking for true luxury, rent one of the units on Union Hills. You will over look a an empty dirt lot (good for watching all the dirt devils twist over to your windows) as well as a deserted gas station. While listening to the traffic, you can watch the Union Hills light change colors all night through the reflection of your apartment windows. There has been no acommodation made for the new units built--still (1) small pool & spa and you must schedule your time at the mini-gym if you want to use it. Watch your time when leaving for work as there is only (1) entrance/exit. If you have $1625.00 to pay for an apartment, you can definitely find a better location, where people are not dumpster diving in the trash bins because the gate in this gated community rarely works and I… See More>

A new maintenance company (Pinnacle) took over in June. To date, there is no office, no maintenance staff & no one on site. We are dealing with a green pool (which has been shut down twice), no lights on the walkway and a parking lot full of construction nails. What we were given is an off-site manager and a telephone number to their office in Las Vegas. Adding insult to injury, we were introduced to the new maintenance company via a note taped to our door. It is really a shame; what was once a nice neighborhood community is now a dirty money pit run by a greedy company that is already talking about raising rents and taking away concessions. After paying over $1400.00 for a (2) bedroom-we really expected more. There is a mass exodus of renters moving when their lease is up
