Wow! I've been here two months (June 15, 2014), and I do NOT agree with the previous reviews. Maybe Pinnacle has listened to the reviews and changed their policies....
1. plenty of good lighting in parking lots - I always feel safe when walking around at night
2. what I love is you never hear your neighbors, and that is a real sore spot with me when living in an apartment (coming from being a homeowner for the last 30 years)
3. I have only had two maintenance issues, and the response time has been more than appropriate each time. Both issues were resolved to my satisfaction
4 I haven't heard about a sign up list in the work out room.....I use it with no problem
5. I don't live on the Union Hills side of the complex so can't give my opinion or feedback. I live a couple buildings in and have had no problems
6 the pool is small, and can get a little crowded with small children. However this is not a problem on which I would base my decision to move here or not
7. parking can be an issue. However I love the one car garage we have.
8. staff has been polite to me
9. we could not have a satellite dish here because of mounting issues and line of sight. However, Direct TV let us out of our contract with no problem
Overall I would say don't just drive by Cobalt without stopping by taking a tour. Reviews are helpful but are no replacement for person to person contact. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Staff is very approachable.
