To start this community is beautiful & luxurious! Yet, the way it is run it feels like a 3rd world country! Zero consistency (when I first moved in they had a security detail in a cart that made their rounds in a kart all night, now I never see them come around while I'm walking my dog at 11pm! The facility allows strangers to walk around our facility by our apartments late at night while most of us are asleep! I've had to chase off two seperate times, shady people looking into parked cars late at night around 1230am & later! With this facility having so many section 8 apartments it's grossly negligent not to have private security, to secure the safety of its citizens (especially with the shootings & murder at this location a few years ago)! The front desk are nice people with a smile but don't do anything to solve real quality of life issues! When we have issues with appliances that stop working at our apartment they take way too long to address! They need to eliminate maintenance coming out that aren't authorized to address most issues that would fix the item & just go straight to the dealer!!!!! Their needs to be consistency with cleaning & emptying all small trash cans next to apartments & picking up trash in front of our apartments! The crime at this facility really concerns me especially with the lack of preventative security! The feeling I get is that our front desk is Intent with putting on a smile, but not really wanting to work! Once our lease is up we will be leaving because of the issues I mentioned above! Not having Private security is the main reason I'm leaving because this place is dangerous! Their lack of preventive measures scares me! We are in a nice safe city, but with all the section 8 apartments here makes this place its own city in a poverty stricken city! Not trying to be mean at all & not all section 8 apartments are bringing in crime! Yet,, it's a known fact that a significant number of section 8 facilities harbor a deep rooted criminal element that comes directly or indirectly from them. And without private security keeping them honest, you are putting the rest of us in harms way!!!! With what we pay you'd think there would be private security especially with the shootings & murder a few years ago! Consistency & customer service along with private security is key to lift this complex above the grade D it's at now! (Also the fob gates around the perimeter need to always be working! We have some gates that are broken & don't lock & have been unlocked open to anyone entering at anyone for over 6 months! That's not right & any security gate that isn't locking or working need to be fixed immediately that day or next day)!
