Highly Recommend this Beautiful Community
I cannot say enough good things about my experience moving into The Independence! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, and the team here is truly top notch. A huge, special shout-out to Simon, he was absolutely amazing! Simon went above and beyond to help me get into my new home. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and kept the communication lines open the entire time. It made what can usually be a stressful process feel so easy. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and you can really tell they care about the residents. As for the community itself, it is wonderful, very clean, quiet, and the neighbors are so welcoming. Im so happy to be here! Highly recommend Simon and the team if youre looking for a great place to live.

One of the first residents to move into Independence. Moved in Dec 2024, great staff Raven, Nate, Kayden and Simon are helpful, friendly and are always available when we need one of them. The property is nice, clean and comfortable. Raven is a great manager she's friendly has an open door policy and wants the best for everyone living at Independence. I would absolutely rate them a 10 if I could or if it's 5 I would however I cannot. I have been living here well over a year and the solar is still not working. That was one of the reasons we moved in. That sold us along with the charging our vehicle from home that was an added plus. Well we are almost into April 2026 and the solar is still not working we pay between 360-440 a month for electric. Yes I could go charge at a station but that's why I moved her convenience. It's a huge issue and there's really no answer that has been given that is acceptable. I don't complain I roll with the days but this is insane. We will be up for renewal or termination of the lease before it even happens. I have noticed a lot of people moving out and I've spoken to two families and they said it was the solar that was the deciding factor. The rent is high already add that high light bill and I'm basically paying way more that I wanted. If they can fix that this place would be amazing!

Kayden is amazing! We really appreciate his patience. He took the time to show us several units making sure we would be happy and made the lease process go really smooth. We transferred from Homecoming and find this community to be exceptional. Very happy with our decision to move here.

Kayden helped me find a very important package needed for my grandsons birthday on Saturday! Thank you for saving the day! Another staff member helped as well but I can’t remember his name (sorry). I appreciate all the effort in helping me make it a special day!

amazing maintenance staff
Independence feels like living at a resort! The staff takes care of our needs in a timely manner, Especially Maintenance! Once you put a work order in they are there before the end of the day which is very appreciated! Maintenance keeps the amenities clean and well maintained which is not an easy feat. Josh is super nice and has completed the few work orders we've submitted fast and efficiently. The Maintenance Supervisor Nate is amazing to say the least! He is super communicative with any work being done around the property and keeps the property looking brand new! Thankyou Nate and Josh for all your hard work and making Independence a place to call home!

Community Director is a threat to the health and safety of residents
We moved into this brand new community full of hope -- expecting a safe, clean, and professionally managed place to raise our two-year-old child. What we got instead was fear, frustration, and a complete lack of care or leadership from Community Director Raven Lexime. Since moving in, we've experienced multiple serious safety incidents, including: * A unit in the community was struck by a gunshot. * A unit was raided by the FBI the day after Memorial Day. * There was an attempted kidnapping on the property. * Law enforcement has been on-site twice with AR-15 rifles, walking through the community, due to the above incidents -- a terrifying sight for any family, let alone one with a toddler. * And most concerning of all, we recently discovered there is a registered sex offender living among us -- in a complex marketed as safe and family-oriented. These are not isolated events -- they've happened in a short period of time and have made us, and many of our neighbors, feel unsafe in our own homes. As parents, we're terrified. We reached out to Raven Lexime to express our concern and ask what was being done. Her response? "The safety of your family is not my concern." That's a direct quote from the person in charge of this community. I responded, "I understand it's not your responsibility to keep my family safe, but as the Community Director, you should have a level of concern for not only my family's safety, but every family in this community." I wasn't reaching out for just us -- I was speaking out for all the families who live here and deserve to feel secure. Sadly, that moment confirmed what we'd already begun to realize: this place is being run by someone who genuinely does not care. On top of the safety issues, trash piles up constantly, bulk items are left out for days, and despite being brand new, the property is already failing to uphold standards. The lack of cleanliness only adds to the overall sense of neglect. For a brand-new "luxury" complex, it's shocking how quickly it has started to feel neglected and poorly managed. If you're thinking about moving here -- especially if you have children -- don't. This is not a safe or well-managed community, and the person in charge has made it abundantly clear she has no concern for your well-being. We deeply regret signing a lease here and are actively looking for a way out. This is not a safe, well-managed, or family-friendly community -- and anyone considering moving here should know exactly what they're walking into. That said, the silver lining in this community has been the incredible maintenance crew, who are responsive, hardworking, and respectful. And in the office, Spinelli and Kayden have been professional, kind, and helpful whenever we've interacted with them. It's clear they care, even if upper management doesn't.

Love this community
This is a great place to live, the staff is extremely helpful. In my opinion, they all go above and beyond., From the leasing team, that were so helpful to me when I moved in to the maintenance team. They are all professional, courteous and always friendly. The maintenance team is extraordinary., when you put in a service request, they are there before you can blink an eye. To Raven and her entire team, I give kudos for the exceptional customer service skills. Thank you so very much.

Great Maintenance team!
I wanted to give acknowledgment to the Maintenance Supervisor Nate. He’s taken care of a few things for us in our home and always had such a great attitude and repaired things super quickly and within the same day! It’s reassuring we made the right choice calling Independence our home with people like Nate taking care of us! Thanks again Nate!!
