Truly "The Pearl" to the oyster that is Wilshire Boulevard. I like to imagine that this is where Tyler The Creator had his famous awkward tryst with his friend's girlfriend. Standing on the balcony, one can smell some of the most romantic tacos in Los Angeles. The Pearl is convenient to such historic locations as "Break Room 86", "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", "Juliana", and the legendary "Terracotta Club", where one goes to get stabbed in style!

Overall good experience at The Pearl. Close to public transportation (Metro Stations) and the main reason why I chose to live here. Amenities are good, and events are a plus. Maintenance is great and do a good job at keeping the place very clean.

We have been living at The Pearl for nearly four years and truly love our time here. The location is perfect, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The maintenance team is quick and efficient, and the management team is always pleasant to work with. Despite the many new apartments opening up in Koreatown, it’s hard to imagine leaving a place that feels so homey and welcoming.

A hidden gem! Many buildings label themself as “luxury” but this place truly holds up to that label. I love the onsite fitness center with classes regularly, as well as an amazing pool and gorgeous outdoor spaces. It seems like there is always visible staff onsite to answer questions and maintain security, which makes me feel very safe living alone. The community is very quiet and there is so much attention to detail in the units, including many lighting options and soft-close cabinets. I was nervous about how I would like living in a small studio, but it is designed SO well to maximize the space that it feels much bigger than it is. Very happy with this community so far!

The ladies in the leasing office are amazing. I've just moved in and they have been so helpful and accessible to me. I really appreciate all the work they do and I honestly hope I'm not bothering them because I keep asking questions. I feel very well taken care of at this apartment and they even accommodated my family who traveled across the country to help me move in. I've already been raving about this apartment to my friends.

It’s clean, well constructed and the things that come with the apartment such as pool area, club area, office, rooftop lounge, and garage parking all are worth the stay. The rent price of course could be more affordable especially consider the small studio I stay in but that’s my only complaint

Smoking problem is damaging all Pearl residents’ living qualities, the management company should not bury its head in the sand. According to the lease terms, clause 21 PROHIBITED CONDUCT, clause 7, Odors of Community Policies of Master Lease Addendum, and NO-SMOKING ADDENDUM, any etc.. Pearl residents should be protected from any kind of odors of smoking. The management staff should be more active in preventing the smoking problem. I receive very often emails for the rules/punishment of trash valet, but never any reminders/warnings for smoking/smokers. Please do something to address this problem. It’s a serious health concern.

Touring experience

I just moved in and Helen has given me the best tour ever since I start looking for apartments. My application process meet a lot of obstacles but she took care of it patiently. Helen is very nice and friendly. Though she might not know everything when you ask her questions, she always ask the manager immediately which is responsible!!!

Overall good community with amenities. Friendly staff and neighbors. They clean the property daily. The only issues are the nats due to people leaving food or trash outside of their door for too long. Also some of the renters don’t take care of the furniture in the common ground areas. Other than that it’s a great community and you won’t have any issues. I’d recommend living here

There is nothing positive to share about The Pearl aside from the large parking lot with so many available spaces that I’ve noticed people without parking permits (basically random cars that shouldn’t be allowed in the garage) somehow are able to come in and park their car in the garage anyway. I’ve personally seen people park in the guest/retail areas waiting for a resident to open the gate before they reverse their car and drive into the resident parking area.
