During my visit I noticed a very relaxed community that has a lot of space to feel more at home than in a hotel. The pool area was spacious, when you walk out of your door your outside and not inside so I don't feel claustrophobic or trapped inside, and the noise level very relaxed

Been living here for 3 months. Love it so far. It&#39;s very convenient to a lot of places! 24-hour gym is really convenient. I live on the 2nd floor so once in awhile you can hear the upstairs&#44; but that&#39;s kind of normal if you live in an apartment. Had a service request one time and it was fixed in a day. It&#39;s kind of the Starwood of hotels&#44; to apartments. I lived in Archstone in Long Beach before and find that if you have any problems with your apartment&#44; just go to the office and they&#39;ll fix it. 

A nice place to live

Positives:
Attractive apartment
Grounds are well kept
24 hour gym

Negatives:
-Filled with college kids sharing apartments (recently met a girl sharing a 3 bedroom with 5 other people)
-Garbage is constantly overflowing into the hallways even though we are charged $10/month for trash (see picture)
-Tenents above me sound as if they are about to fall through the ceiling it is so loud
-For some reason a majority of the tenants have not mastered driving in a parking garage and there are constantly near misses from jerks speeding through BLASTING their music
- very little visitor parking - if it is full your visitors will have to pay to park in the hotel next door
- Massive trucks/hummers/SUV&#39;s park in compact spots taking up three spots all for themselves rather than park in a larger spot
- Cheap construction - my first day the microwave did not work&#44; I&#39;ve had 4 lights blow out is 6 months&#44; my desk has fallen apart twice&#44; handles on the kitchen draws have fallen off&#44; the face one draw has fallen off&#44; the tub was dirty when I moved in&#44; walls were not even painted
- very small closet - can&#39;t imagine a couple living in a 1 bedroom comfortable. I live on my own and barely have room
- Management claims there is a size restriction for dogs but there is a Boxer down the hall who&#39;s owner leaves piles of dog crap throughout the walking area
- Very few dog owners pick up after their dogs
-Management charges an additional $50/month for dogs so my rent is over $1600 even though I keep my apartment spotless and my dog is well trained
-Smokers toss their cigarette butts from their patio and lucky me I get to clean them from my patio when they land on my furniture
- For an apartment with hundreds of residents the pool has appriximately 15 lounge chairs!

I can go on even more but I am only depressing myself considering I am stuck here for another 4 months. Do yourself a favor and run don&#39;t walk away from this disaster.

Stay Away!

vehicle was broken into 5 times, twice in the same month. Caught a thief, and luckily nobody got hurt. Talked to management about it, and they said that it isn&apos;t their responsibility even if you are shot, stabbed, or attacked on their property. Packages get stolen on a daily basis because there is no security. Water gets shut off once a month. If you value your family&apos;s safety or your personal belongings...look elsewhere.

This place sucks do not rent here there has been a car break in every week for the last couple months last week July 31st 2021 there was six cars window smashed and belongings taken out and I asked the front office if they were going to reimburse us and still no word about reimbursements. The staff here is inexperienced there&apos;s and too young to be running 156 million purchase this year apartment complex a lot of hidden charges at the lease has like pest control when we have gnats flying always in our balconies

Don&apos;t move here. worse place to live, no mail service, broken lights, no security, water randomly shut off, vomit on the floor, broken elevator. Management doesn&apos;t seem to care once you sign the lease.

Lots of hidden fees, and billing mistakes. Constant water shut off, almost daily basis. Constant problems with trash. Alot of vehicle break-in&apos;s , hit and runs, and no parking at night. Lack of security is a concern, resulting in homeless, vehicle break-ins, vandalism, solicitors, and theft that occur on the property on a daily basis. Management refuses to do anything about it. Go check out the pictures on yelp if you want to see how this property really is.

I do not recommend this place at all. Management can&apos;t even provide basic necessities such as water service, security, and package delivery. They always blame someone else, but you (the tenant) always has to pay. They flooded the packaging area a few weeks ago, because management has no clue what they are doing, but they of course blamed the vendors which they hired. Did tenants get reimbursed for water or damage to their packages..NOPE. They won&apos;t provide security, even though your vehicles are broken into nightly, or you have homeless people running around the property. You pay for parking, but they don&apos;t enforce the parking, so homeless people live in the parking structure at night. You pay pest control, because management won&apos;t deal with the trash problem. In the end, you pay because its your fault for moving here.

When it comes to the maintenance team Oscar and Patrick came to my apartment to fit my door handle and some missing blinds. Unfortunately the door handle had to be ordered. Finally my door handle came in. Oscar called me to inform me that the door handle come in and that he could come by to fix it. I texted him to let him know that I was home and that he could stop by anytime he ended up calling me letting me know that heâ€™s is sending Patrick to come fix my door. In the end my door got fixed no problems. Both men were very Professional thank you Oscar and Patrick for giving me a door handle

If you like to be carjacked at gun point, or chase thieves who break into your vehicle with crowbars, or homeless people that live on the property then Griffis apartments is for you. The property management refuses to provide any security for the residents so vehicles get BROKEN INTO EVERY NIGHT and ARMED CARJACKINGS are now a thing at this property. Enjoy your stay at Griffis Mission Valley.

Do you like armed carjackings, chasing armed thieves, package thieves?

The maintenance team is great, but it takes the office a week or more to get your request assigned and delivered to maintenance So be prepared to wait for the office deliver. I am still waiting on the office to let me know if a storage is available from 3 weeks and they didn't know what they have in inventory

I enjoy living here, it's very convent for me as I golf right next door. The community has just about everything you will need. I also like that is very easy to get to the freeways and anywhere you need to go.
