I enjoy a secured building with kind staff. I appreciate that if I have an issue, someone will come the same day in an attempt to resolve. The grounds are kept clean, I love the roof top terrace and enjoy the apartment overall, very much. The lobby is also wonderful to work from home. The community here is wonderful.

I been living here for a year now and so far my life been easier . Privacy and accessibility are more important to me. This place is walking distance to bus station muni , bart and City Hall, post office, SF library, Asian museum and some gov. agency. Conveniency wise.

Nice building, terrible location and okay staff. If you have an issue it will likely not be dealt with. The “security” will pass everything off to the manager who is rarely in his office and will respond to an email a week or two later. If Jamie was the manager I believe this property would be ran much better. Residence in the complex will damage your vehicle and not say anything, cameras will not catch it unless you are directly parked in front of it. It’s always loud outside of the building. Inside the building is pretty quiet but smells like dog and cigarettes. I personally cannot wait for my lease to be up I’d never recommend this place.

We love the staff and the inside of the building but you really need to clean the side walk around the building every day. The urine in the doorways is really bad. It is now to the point where our shoes get sticky with urine just walking in. This is neither sanitary or healthy for residents.

The management and service teams are GREAT!!! I love the building and the floor plans of the apt. The location is ideal for being central to where i need to be. But, I had hoped that the neighborhood would not have continued to deteriorate.

I moved here in February of 2022 from Florida after my husband passed. The leasing process was very easy and efficient. I have a high regard for the community. I just wish security in the PM hours were more pleasant and effective

The apartment itself is great: nice finishes, decent size, great lighting and views, dishwasher and laundry in unit. The location is also awesome: really central and all the public transit you could want. It’s a real shame the neighborhood is in the state it’s in, otherwise this place would be perfect (though probably cost twice as much…). The neighborhood has become a dealbreaker for me unfortunately and I won’t be staying long.

From day one, it has been nothing but problems. The constant nickel-and-diming for every little thing is infuriating, especially given the numerous broken and dysfunctional facilities and the poor customer service. Crime remains a significant issue, making it unsafe to walk outside the building. I have experienced several thefts and damage to my property. The only positive aspect was the sense of community and the activities, but that changed when new management took over. They unilaterally decided to patronize and collectively punish all residents by banning drinking in our own community spaces—this is outrageous. Instead of addressing the real issues, such as loiterers and parked cars on the street, theft and break-ins, unsafe conditions, the filthy dog walk area, and the many broken items throughout the community, they chose to impose arbitrary restrictions on us. Despite these numerous issues, we are charged as if we live in a high-end neighborhood like Russian Hill. What a mess!!

Unsafe and loud neighborhood
Before moving, please educate yourself on the daily crime, violence, shootings, vulgarity, intimidation, drugs, and loud music (until 2am) that go on in this neighborhood. And then after, ask yourself is it worth it to pay said amount for these kind of living standards. P.S. the police wont do anything about the perpetrators who carry out and basically own this street (Jones). I really appreciate the opportunity for them allow me to move into the apartment but I’m really satisfied with all the amenities environment that atmosphere the sky view of the city. Everything is playing out that I wanted it. I have no complaints. I have nice neighbors that staff members and security.

No action is taken with work orders or broken amenities. Lack of communication and hospitality. Needs new management. It’s been over six months and nothing has been done about broken amenities or work orders. Could be an amazing place under the right management.

I have been in 50 Jones for almost 3 years and I have seen a huge change. The community is getting worse and worse every day. People don’t respect the building or building’s rules and management doesn’t do anything about it. There are many things that need to be repair, and clean frequently. The spaces are dirty, equipments are broke, doors don’t lock. I don’t recommend leasing a place in this building

New management seemingly has a war on “fun.” No drinking allowed in common areas including the rooftops. Mind you, the rooftops have incredible views, lounge spaces, and grilling areas that could make entertaining so perfect. 50 Jones is trending down — I’d look elsewhere.

I really like 50 Jones, from the moment you walk in the door its great. It is peaceful, calm and it's a place I want to be everyday, I love rhe amenities and my apartment is spacious, clean and the overall experience has been excellent.

been here since Feb 2023. I love it. Best place I have ever lived. The staff/security and most people I have met that live here are so nice. Its so cool they have a happy hour every other friday. They also have taco Tuesdays but i have yet to know when or attend. Hope to be here forever!!!

Located in the worst neighborhood in all of San Francisco, particularly in the worst cross sections. Drug dealing and gunshots right outside the entrance. Rent here if you love the lawlessness of the tenderloin and faulty washers and dryers.

The neighborhood is deplorable. I walk out of your beautiful building onto streets plagued by homeless people and drug dealers. Gun shots, sirens and emergency vehicles sound off all night My experience would be positive if this was not a primary issue at 50 Jones.

Located at a prime location, 50 Jones boasts of a community that is well suited for all kinds of people. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Common areas and amenities are no less than a luxury hotel. Highly recommended for the price to rent at this location.
