We're overall quite thrilled with Hawkins. We're coming up on almost one year and plan to renew our lease. The floor plans are spacious and well planned compared to the other market rate building next door. The staff are friendly, attentive, and proactively communicate with residents and are quick to resolve issues the arise. While Treasure Island is in transition and may not be for everyone, we're convinced that Hawkins is the right place to be while lending a hand to build up something new and exciting.

Island life 7 minutes from downtown

My wife and I have lived here for 8 months, and we have both lived in SF for 15+ years. This building is amazing, the staff is awesome, the neighbors are cool, and the location is top-notch. When we moved here i was worried about being isolated on an island; that could not have been further from the truth. It's amazing views, amazing people, and very convenient — the ferry is only 7 minutes from downtown. We moved from Outer Sunsight to here, and it's much more convenient--although you wouldn't think it.

Easy Renewal, Even Better Living at Hawkins

Renewing at Hawkins was honestly a no brainer for me. It has been the best and easiest decision I have made as a renter so far. The team here truly cares and it shows in the way they communicate, handle requests, and keep everything running smoothly. The building is always clean, well maintained, and presents beautifully, especially compared to other properties on the island. What really makes it special, though, is the lifestyle. Having the park space right outside your door and a full resident event calendar throughout the year adds so much to everyday living. It feels like more than just an apartment, it feels like a real community. I am excited to be renewing and staying another year at Hawkins.

The apartment community named Hawkins is really good. They have their issues (not the best maintenance management) but other then that, i love it there and i would recommend it to my friends. The best part is - it is very clean, they clean it all the time.

Great Views of the City!

While living in these apartments, I do say one of the features I like is the night time view from the roof. It’s a beautiful view of San Francisco and Alcatraz. If you have any furry babies(dogs or puppies), then you will enjoy the pet spa, a dedicated pet shower area that has an air blower for quick drying as well as big metal tubs for easier showering. Whenever me or my roommates have an issue or an inquiry, Cherise always helps out whenever she is able to and we appreciate her helpful and supportive demeanor.

Hawkins and the Ferry

Hawkins is special, but the real magic is the ferry. It’s about an 8 minute ride to downtown, sometimes even quicker depending on the captain, and every home gets a free unlimited pass. I work near Civic Center and can get there in under 40 minutes door to door. Walk, ferry, MUNI, done. It’s honestly the best commute I’ve ever had both ways. The views, unbeatable. Tell me where you'll find a ride home anywhere where else like this. The team makes it even better. Brendon definitely runs the show and is just a genuinely good, down to earth guy. You can tell he cares because he lives here too, and it shows in how the community feels. Island calm with city access. Hard to beat. Looking forward to renewing :)

Brendon, Cherise, Meira, and Bryan are the most patient, helpful, and empathetic team. I've never come across leasing agents and community managers who are so kind and supportive. They're all very knowledgeable and committed to helping you find the perfect home. I really can't speak highly enough of them. And as for the building itself, it's exquisite. From the walk in showers and in unit washer and dryer, to the gym and stunning rooftop views, the whole building has everything you could need. Also, as someone who works from home, I really appreciate the large work from home area with several individual offices and conference rooms available. Compared to all of the older buildings in San Francisco that I toured, this brand new building is superior on all fronts. If you're looking for a beautiful new home in SF, look no further.

Great place to live and a fun little island community. The staff onsite go above and beyond for the tenants! The buildings are well-maintained, the amenities are thoughtfully kept up, and the overall atmosphere feels safe, quiet, and welcoming. I’ve really enjoyed living here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, community-oriented place to call home.

Can't imagine anything better

One part of me doesn't want to share this hidden gem because I don't want it to get overcrowded. But another part of me wants to be generous and tell others about it. So here is what I think about living here: 1. You won't find better sunset views anywhere. I haven't seen anything nicer than this. 2. I've never met so many smart, friendly, and interesting people in one place. If you are open, you can make a lot of friends here. Living in this community feels like having a paid subscription to a think tank, a premium bar, a co-working space, and a Masonic club. 3. You have two options for public transport: the ferry (the pass is included in your lease) - 7 minutes to the Ferry Building; and the bus - 12 minutes to Salesforce Transit Center. 4. Modern, beautiful units with good appliances. 5. The staff: Brendon, Cherise and Meira are incredibly welcoming, kind, and fully integrated into the community. They aren't separate they're part of it. And if something needs to be fixed, Luis handles it like a pro and super fast. Luis, special thank you! I'll save you from paying a cancellation fee on your current lease and won't say more.

Always a Great Time Visiting Hawkins

I’m not a resident at Hawkins, but I visit a close friend who lives there and I’m over on Treasure Island all the time. Taking the ferry over is honestly one of my favorite parts! The ride is quick, smooth, and the views alone make it worth the trip especially on a nice day. Hawkins has become a regular hangout for me, especially with the weekly game nights. The vibe is always fun and welcoming, and you can tell the building really leans into building a sense of community. I’ve also been to a few of the concerts Gold Bar hosts with live DJs, and those nights are always a blast. Even as a visitor, I always feel right at home here.

Don't pass up a tour of Hawkins, you will regret it. Beautiful apt's.

We recently discovered Hawkins while looking to relocate for a new job in the City. We couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we toured the property, it was clear this was a community built with care and attention to detail for the tenants. The staff we’ve worked with, have been incredibly welcoming and professional. Brenden was no nice from the first inquiry on the phone and throughout the application process. He’s always there to get everything done for you and fun to work with. Cherise showed us 10-15 different units and was so generous with her time and patience, she’s very kind. They both go above and beyond to make the move-in process seamless and stress-free. Every question I had was answered promptly, and I always felt like a valued prospective resident. The amenities are truly luxury-level: ferry, modern fitness center, rooftop lounge, cubicles for work and so many places to relax in the common areas. The design of the apartments is both stylish and functional, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful layouts that make it feel like home instantly. The location is another huge plus, offering easy access to the Embarcadero via ferry, dining, shopping, freeways and a brand new park. Both Oakland and San Francisco are minutes away. All of this while still maintaining the quiet, comfortable atmosphere of island ??? living. Overall, Hawkins delivers on everything you’d expect from a luxury living experience. I’m thrilled we discovered this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, upscale apartment community. You will not regret renting here!

Great place to live

I've been living here for the past 45 days and can only say good things about it. It really feels like we are building a small community and the team working behind it is fantastic. Also, Treasure Island has one of the best views of the bay and the city. Very little bureaucracy moving in and not needing a security deposit was super helpful. Another positive point for me is how secure the mail system is. Lastly, the leasing team, Brendon, Cherise and Meira have been so welcoming and helpful throughout the whole time I've been here and even before I moved. PS: I also loved the welcome package.

Hawkins Shines Brighter

Life at Hawkins is pretty great. I toured Hawkins as well as its next-door competition, and the choice between the two was easy — Hawkins offers a better, more attractive apartment in a well-appointed and better-designed community than the competition. I love my Hawkins apartment with its spacious entryway, high ceilings, large kitchen with tons of cabinet-storage and Samsung Bespoke appliances, a beautiful walk-in shower in the main bath, on-site storage, and a secure underground parking garage, all with attractive lease rates and incentives. The staff at Hawkins is friendly, helpful, professional, and capable, and the property is consistently clean and well-maintained. The views from my home at Hawkins are gorgeous, overlooking both sides of The Bay and the gorgeously newly developed areas of Treasure Island, a redevelopment effort that is already shaping up to be fantastic. There actually wasn’t any ‘choice’ to be made between Hawkins and its next-door competitor because there was no contest at all - Hawkins offered me everything and more I was looking for in an apartment home and I’m pretty thrilled to be a resident here.

If I could give one thousand stars I truly would

I have traveled across continents, lived in different cities, and stayed in many hotels, serviced apartments, and long term rentals. Yet Hawkins is the very first place that made me pause and say: This feels like home. Not just a temporary stay, but a place where my heart settled with comfort and belonging. From the very first moment I reached out for information, I was welcomed with a level of warmth and professionalism that is extremely rare today. That warmth has a name: Brendon. I genuinely cannot express enough how wonderful he is. Brendon guided me through every step with patience, clarity, and sincere care. Whether it was during the day or late in the evening, he always responded, explained, reassured, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, fast, and stress free for me. When I arrived, he greeted me in such a kind and heartfelt way that I truly felt like a family member returning home. That feeling remains with me until now. In many places I have lived, the leasing office forgets your name once you move in. But Brendon remembers, checks in, and cares. He is the heart and soul of Hawkins, and I truly believe that many people will fall in love with this place because of him. I am only half joking when I say Hawkins should make him the official face of the building. Now moving to the building itself. Living here feels like stepping into a gentle dream. Everything is brand new, from the facilities and common area furniture to the co working spaces and the fully equipped gym. It does not feel like I rented an apartment. It feels like the home I have always wished for. The location is very convenient. You can reach many places easily by bus, ferry, or car. Food delivery arrives quickly and smoothly. Security is outstanding. You use a personal key fob to access the building, your floor, and every amenity. It gives a comforting sense of safety and privacy that truly matters, especially for someone new to the city. Now the part that makes my heart full every single day. The view. Hawkins is set by the water. Every morning I get to watch the sunrise slowly paint the sky, and every evening I watch the sunset wrap the day in warm golden light. I often enjoy a cup of tea while looking at the calm water and the gentle sky. It is peaceful. It is healing. It brings joy to the soul. I honestly believe it would be very difficult to find a similar experience anywhere else in San Francisco. Settling in was also incredibly easy. Hawkins works with trusted service providers for high speed internet, furniture rental, and other essential needs. With one simple appointment everything was delivered and arranged within a few hours. There was absolutely no stress. And as if all of that was not enough, Hawkins welcomed me with the most thoughtful gifts including a brand new set of cookware along with lovely housewarming items. I was touched beyond words. Those gestures showed care, intention, and genuine thoughtfulness. This is not only a place to stay. This is a place that makes you feel valued and cared for. Each morning I wake up, look outside, breathe in the calm air, and feel grateful that this is the home I get to return to every day. If you are thinking about living here, I encourage you to come and see it for yourself. Experience the feeling with your own heart. Then you will understand why I am so in love with this place. ??
