It´s not all bad
I have lived in this place, and my boyfriend lived here for 3 years. The thing is, the bulidings are different! Some are newer, and BRIGHTER, while the older ones are darker, and yes, more oppressive. My piece of advice is, ask to see the actual unit you want to rent. Also, if you can afford it, move to the top floors! It is worth the extra money! The walls are thin, but that is the way most apartments in California are. It comes with living in this area. The area is relativly safe, especially compared to other areas in San Francisco. Also, the big windows are not very well insulated, so be prepared to be cold!! The heater is located right next to the window, so it is not very useful, and all you do is run up your energy bill.
Getting to the freeway is a breeze, and it is right by the lake, and not far from the ocean.
It needs to be said though, their prices are still WAY to high for what you get. The apartments are not very big, and the applicances are outdated...even in the newer buldings! If your comapany is helping you pay, or you can afford it, then this palce is not too bad. It´s convenient and the views are nice.Share This Review
