Stay Away!
I have lived at many apartments over the years and none have been perfect, nor do I expect them to be. Lakewood apartments are by far the worst though. To begin with, the management is horrible and the staff are just lazy. I did not receive a walk through when I moved in and instead was given a map and told good luck. If you receive a package and the office will hold it but there are only two hours out of the day when you can pick it up (which happen to be in the middle of the day so if you have 9-5 hours for work...you'll never get your package) this is just the staff being extremely lazy. The complex itself feels like a rundown hotel...smells musty, old and of cigarette smoke. My apartment is fine, clean and thankfully thick walls keep most of the noise out. You do get an assigned parking spot which is helpful and street parking is first come first served although your fighting for a spot from people running on lake and the gun range members. And yes you can hear the shot guns shooting from about 10am-4pm daily. Stellar. With so many people being in this complex water is constantly being turned on and off which can make for a painful shower experience. The price is the only selling point, so I guess you get what you pay for but its not worth it...there are simply so many little things that all add up to make this living experience miserable and at time painful.Share This Review
