Lakewood is a real sleeper! If you like fresh air and to live in a park Lakewood is for you!

I have Lived on and off at the Lakewood Apartments for over Thirty years. The Complex is on it's third name it was also called John Muir and Oakwood. I feel we could use a more active clubhouse and more bus trip's ect. .... On the good side they do have two free dinner's a month and we can pick one (so everyone gets to go) Lakewood also has a wonderful Yoga class and I hear the aerobics class is also great. They offer free Tennis Lessons and have a great Pool, hot tub spa, steam room, dry heat sauna and of cource lighted Tennis. I feel this is the best location for the least amount of money in the city! It is on a lake near the seashore and zoo If you want to live in the middle of a park you can't find any place better! The Lakewood gives us free Parking and has Wonderful Shopping nearby. As for The Staff everyone has been nice to me so far. There is 729 units here and the place is over 30 it looks great but not without a lot of hard work. I think there must be a lot of stress on management. I Feel we get a lot for our money here.
