I wish I would have went with my first mind

I moved here from a neighboring city thinking it was a good move because the rent was much cheaper and it was closer to my job. I lived here for about a month and I absolutely hate it. There is always an issue. And the biggest one thus far has been "no water." For the last day I've had no water...can't shower, wash clothes, flush the toilet, nothing that requires water. Management claimed it was a DWP issue but when I contacted DWP, they told me they came out and discovered the problem had absolutely nothing to do with them. And let's not forget about the shabby laundry facility that always has at least two broken machines. And there are tons of pets which probably accounts for the funny odor in the elevators and hallways. The only silver lining in it all is that I can save a little more but as soon as my lease is up I am out of this place. This is the absolute worse place I have ever lived. Some things really are too good to be true. Something told me not to rent from this place but I went against my gut. I wish I would have went with my first mind. Take my word for it, just because a place is in Woodland Hills does not mean it's nice. I learned it the hard way. I hope this review helps someone. Now I understand why people take the time to write reviews. It's not that they have too much time on their hands or they're angry people. They just want to prevent others from having the same awful experience. I really wish I would have just paid a couple more hundred dollars for something nicer. The cheaper rent is no consolation when your home does not feel like a sanctuary.
