I am writing to thank the Management Staff of Advenir Cherry Creek North. I made a chocolate chip pie the other day to show my appreciation. They have a huge challenge as the transition team assigned to working with residents during an upgrade. I think we have all had these kinds of challenges in our lives and it would be nice if we could remember those times and empathize with the challenges the Management Team face here.
Yes, there are problems with the property as is true with the competition right around the corner even though it is a much newer property...
All too often, in our complaining, we fail to see the good that does exist. For instance:
? We have new laundry machines (and I might add, keeping the machines clean is really our responsibility.)
? We have new bright lighting in the hallways so we can see late at night.
? We have new carpet in the hallways. I am not sure how long they will remain new if residents continue to put out cigarettes on the carpet and dump their trash on the floor.
? We have new security doors on our buildings but I find residents prop the doors open all the time - to the point of breaking the swing latch on the door so it won't automatically close as it should. Unfortunately, this leaves our building open to some of the problems residents are complaining about.
? Amy, the Manager, was incredibly responsive when I reported several domestic altercations in my building.
? Both Cory and Aaron have been very kind and responsive in fixing all the little and big things in my place. I don't expect fast turn-around on the little things and, often, if I can fix the problem myself, I do.
? When I have been in the office both Lana and Jett have been very polite and helpful.
I just share one last observation. If I need help, I use words like, "Please and thank you." We may not be part of the problem, but we can definitely be part of the solution. Thank you!
