It's been a mixed experience. It all depends on the office staff. When they have phenomenal office staff and maintenance, this place runs smoothly. Things get done. But sadly that is not the norm. Every few months there seems to be turnover which leads to frustrations and inefficiencies. The employees who do stick it out here are WAY overworked! Lately they haven't been able to keep steady staff in the office, often leading to the office closing early or extremely long wait times because there will be only one person there...on a weekday...who may or may not be trained... There is no "green" or "sustainable" things in the complex like recycling, energy efficient/low flow appliances, or smart water sensors for the sprinklers. This is disappointing as many other complexes have these amenities. The grounds are overwatered. I've watched the sprinklers come on when we have 2" of snow on the ground or during a rain storm. During the spring and summer, the shady sides of the buildings will turn into muddy messes in the morning since the ground is oversaturated. The grounds often have trash and dog poop. The interiors of the buildings have seen better days. If a high wind comes up, watch your head because the siding will fall off. The "remodeled" apartments tend to have have drawers that do not fit or work well. Getting something fixed is a hit or miss, again depending on the staff. I've had awesome maintenance people who take the time to address and fix the problems. I've had others who will say they fixed something and they did not. The wait times vary from a couple of days to a couple weeks to get something fixed. Communication is not a strong point here. Last summer I'd go to the pool on a day its supposed to be open and it'll be locked. No sign or anything. I'll have an office person rush out to tell me the pool is closed due to this or that issue. But there's no sign. The office will be closed at random times - no sign. They will close for meetings during regular hours and not put a sign up, then get upset that you are knocking on the door because you see them in there. Wide range of ages and backgrounds who live here. Lots of families. Overall I've had good experiences with the other tenants. Most seem to stay to themselves. I live here for the location. It's by many trails and easy access to Denver and the surrounding areas. If it weren't for the location, I'd bail and find somewhere that is more organized and together.
