Staff is very unprofessional and their lack of communication makes it very difficult to work with them. Since day one we were told different things about what we owed for a deposit and got charged an additional fee that they say we never paid when we were told multiple times prior we owed nothing. Forcing applicants to pay online as well is absurd.

It is often difficult to understand why ratings on this Web site fluctuate so much with properties that I consider excellent. I suspect it is because most people only write reviews when they are dissatisfied&#44; and those who are satisfied never speak up.

I am one of those people who would like to speak up about my experience at AMLI at Inverness. Honestly&#44; I&#39;ve lived in many apartments over my lifetime&#44; and I have never been more satisfied. Here are the things I&#39;ve noticed that make this my favorite community that I&#39;ve ever lived in:

- Service. I have never&#44; ever&#44; had any problems with the service at AMLI. On the contrary&#44; the people in the leasing office are friendly&#44; polite&#44; and professional. When I had an issue out of their control with an automatic rent payment&#44; they set it up correctly and refunded an erroneous charge from a computer glitch immediately. And I don&#39;t mean it was resolved within 24 hours -- I mean it was resolved on-the-spot&#44; with the assistant manager personally taking care of it.

- Maintenance. The maintenance team cannot be beat. When I first moved in and requested maintenance replace a burnt-out light and increase the temperature of my hot water heater just a bit (I like really hot showers)&#44; I set the clock to track their response time. The result: 6 hours. I kid you not -- this maintenance team responds quicker than some hotels I&#39;ve stayed in.

- Noise insulation. I very rarely hear my neighbors -- and both units are occupied on both sides of me (and below). These apartments must have been constructed in such a way that noise is minimized. I have never had an experience where I could hear someone&#39;s TV&#44; stereo&#44; or conversation. Have I heard my neighbors ever? Well&#44; sure. It&#39;s an apartment building; however&#44; these have only been in unusual circumstances where someone was hammering a nail into a wall or perhaps accidentally letting an exterior door slam.

- Amenities. The grounds are immaculate. There are always inconsiderate neighbors in any community who leave trash outside of the dumpster or allow their dogs to leave feces on the grass. I don&#39;t know who cleans this up -- but I can tell you it&#39;s never there for more than 12 hours here. Every time I pull into the lot&#44; there is a maintenance person cleaning some part of the grounds.

- Value. I pay a slight premium to live here compared to some other apartments a few miles away; however&#44; the service I receive and the location of this community make it worth it to me.

Now&#44; lest you think this review is fake and that I have no areas to list for areas of improvement&#44; I&#39;ll list those things that I think could use a little attention.

- Parking. I wouldn&#39;t necessarily say it&#39;s a problem here&#44; but it can get tight like in any apartment community. Sometimes I&#39;m not able to find a space right in front of my unit; and the reserved unit lot is a bit of a trek from my door. To be fair&#44; it&#39;s a small community -- and there really is no such thing as a &#34;long walk&#34; from any space to any apartment.

- Fitness center. Let&#39;s face it. Apartment communities specialize in providing places to live&#44; and running a health club isn&#39;t their expertise. Some of the machines could use a little maintenance and occasional cleaning. 

- Hot tub. The community doesn&#39;t have a hot tub&#44; which I would love! But it does have the best pool I&#39;ve seen in any apartment community -- complete with a waterfall that is really nice to read and relax next to in the summertime.

Check out the apartment communities in the area. Consider the grounds&#44; the location&#44; the staff&#44; the physical apartments&#44; and the amenities. I think you&#39;ll find that this community comes out #1 in value. I love it here and don&#39;t plan on moving until the day I purchase a home.

I will just list a pros and cons list: pro: -Decent location, kind of close to light rail -Maintenance people seem knowledgeable cons: -lack of support from management staff for their residents - Maintenance team parks their golf cart on the side walk when there is literally a garage and parking way for the golf cart right next to it. Which I guess if you&apos;re walking your dogs (which MANY people do) you&apos;re supposed to walk on the street and hope you don&apos;t get hit by a car so the maintenance guy does not have to be bothered to use the driveway or garage for the golf cart. -quick to blame others when something goes wrong (package went missing, they were quick to blame Amazon) -leaves slick snow on sidewalk for a week after a blizzard(when asked about shoveling, they said it was the &quot;city&apos;s responsibility....even though we live in an unincorporated part of Arapahoe county and state statues mandate that property owners or managers remove all snow from publicly accessible sidewalks within 24 hours after snowfall has ended. ) -does not respond to maintenance requests within their &quot;48 hour guarantee&quot;. My bathtub nozzle was broken and it took them almost 3 days to respond to my request. -there is NO way to get out of your lease such as transferring. -staff tends to talk over you when you call in with concerns, after stating &quot;we seem to be talking over each other&quot; which means they are uninterested in hearing your concerns and even less interesting in acting on them. -I have only seen security when someone calls them. Where was the security when the car was stolen out of the &quot;secure parking garage&quot;? - Lack of parking-if you get home from work after 5:30, good luck getting a parking spot....you most likely will not find one. If you are lucky enough to find one, it&apos;s on the other side of the apartment complex. The solution the leasing office offers you is to buy a parking unit that is also on the other side of the complex. -office is only open 10AM-6PM, when most people are at work, most Apartment offices open a 0800 or 0900, I guess this staff is more leisurely in their hours. -the layouts of the apartments are terrible, the bathroom is far too big. Needless to say, I am paying for &quot;luxury apartment living&quot; for a very very mediocre apartment.
