Great location but beware.....
I lived at Brookside Village for over a year. I got a smokin' deal ($760 for the 1br loft twnhome plan). The cool vaulted ceilings are what make these apartments unique. And you can't beat the location (beautiful parks and the DTC skyline). The property is amazing (check out the wetlands that intersect the property). But the interiors are VERY dated (built in 1995). Bad carpet, bad countertops, ugly brass fixtures, weird colums and mirrored bars, and peeling paint. Parking is the worst I've EVER seen. Luckily everyone gets a garage but if you want to have friends over or if you can't park in your driveway then you're SOL. There is honestly just a handful of public parking spots and those spots are filled with other tenant's run-down junkers. There was a family across the parking lot from us who had 5 grown adults living in their 3 bedroom! All 5 adults owned a car plus 2 junkers so you can only imagine how much of a fight it was to get a parking spot. Management was fine and they seemed very laid back but they never gave me a copy of my lease which I didn't realize until I moved out. I recomend this place only if you get a great deal and if you don't need extra parking (ie. you don't have any friends that come over). There are nicer ones out there.Share This Review
