    I'm going to go through this review one thing at a time, first and foremost: Roaches. I can't recommend moving in here for these health reasons alone. The stress of dealing with it is immense. This place has an issue with German roaches. There's just nothing you can do about it. They spray often, but this just forces the things indoors. I've been battling them since I moved in. I've managed to keep them to a minimum as my place isn't the source, but they keep coming in. You can't control what conditions your neighbors live in. Despite my efforts, roaches are still around and scare the crap out of me when they run out from under something I pick up in the morning. If you complain to the office about it, it's a hellish process, but it's no fault of the office folks, it's just the procedures for handling it. In order to have your place treated, you have to remove everything you own from all the cabinets and drawers and let them come "treat" your kitchen and bathrooms once a week for over a month.       Not the Best place to be they don't get your orders in on time they don't consider your safety they don't care about how you feel in your own home I have multiple issues and problems that they take forever to address I don't feel safe or happy

        This office and customer service is terrible. Worst place I've lived. Things break, takes days/weeks to fix and their office staff doesn't care, is rarely there during office hours. So disappointed in this place

          Absolutely terrible. Mold, pests, broken personal items that have never been replaced. Ive also been shot at in the community. Management turn over is horrible, to the point I don't even know who is in the leasing office anymore. Poor communication. I hate it here

            Until the last several months. It was good. Now it's okay because it's my home. They allow anyone to park here & residents can park more than 2 vehicles even when they don't move from parking spots for months do when I get off work I always have to park several buildings away from mine & that's if I'm lucky. I'm usually here by 5pm & every spot is used. Office people don't seem to communicate well. I like Julia. I think that's her name. She's friendly & seems to be knowledgeable.

              Amber was the most discourteous, pretentious, ill-tempered and unprofessional asinine creature to crawl from the black grim of the giant potholes that permeated this complex. Rude, unprofessional, an absolute nightmare. Childish, and when confronted about any mistakes they made, doubled down and repeated behavior except louder. Thought about moving here; am no longer ever considering it again for fear of ever having to deal with the migraine that is 'Amber'.

                Do NOT sign a lease here unless you have seen the EXACT unit that you will be renting. I signed a lease for an apartment here after being told that it would be fully renovated and look exactly like the virtual walkthrough. I had requested a virtual tour as we weren't able to come to see the apartment in person, but I was told that they weren't able to show the unit, but that it would look exactly like the 1-bedroom virtual walkthrough, but would be a 2-bedroom layout. We went ahead and signed the lease. When we showed up, the apartment was not renovated AT ALL. The unit was carpeted with yellow paint, smelled like cigarette smoke, and had no updated features or appliances. When we explained the situation to the leasing agents, they proceeded to show us ~5 other available units that were all worse than the original unit. The leasing agents were very nice and wanted to help us out, but it became clear that the agents didn't know which units were renovated, clean, or available.                   THEY HAVE CHANGED OFFICE STAFF AT LEAST THREE TIMES IN THE YEAR I HAVE BEEN HERE. THEY ARE PRETTY LAZY ABOUT GROUNDS KEEPING AND ACTUALLY ONLY HAVE TWO WORKING POOLS. THE OTHER ONE IS A SIS POOL THAT ONLY OPERATES AS A MOSQUITO HAVEN. THERE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS ARE ALLEGEDLY HIGHLY FAUTLY ALTHOUGH I HAVE EVIDENCE THEY USE THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS TO HARASS RESIDENCE. THESE UNITS AREN'T WORTH HALF THE PRICE THEY ASK FOR. ALTHOUGH THE VEGA APARTMENTS ON 118TH AND WASHINGTON ARE CRAPPY IT LEAST THEY DON'T TRY TO PAINT THEM AS A PRETTY PICTURE. FYI IF WHEN YOU LOOK AT A UNIT IT IS FREEZING COLD, THIS IS BECAUSE IN ORDER TO KEEP YOUR UNIT AT A REASONABLE TEMPERATURE ON A HOT DAY YOU WILL HAVE TO COOL YOUR UNIT DOWN TO BELOW 60 AT NIGHT. OTHERWISE PLAN ON A 80 DEGREE DAY WITH THE A/C ON.

                        You don't even get what you pay for. I don't know why people are giving this place an overall 5 when it lacks a lot of work. This new staff is a bit, nicer but still give you attitude once in a while if you catch them on a bad day. Maintenance is great. Apartments are falling apart...

                          This was THE WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in . Although it may seem beautiful on the outside it's DEFINITELY NOT where you want to live . The apartments are small for the price that you're paying , neighbors are ALWAYS outside arguing , fighting , and being nosy , the building I was living had something going on with the water pipe so they had to cut the whole buildings water off for over a week , maintenance take forever to come out and fix things , they control when you get heat and ac so if it's 85 degrees in the winter you still can't use your ac until they decided when to turn it on .this year they didn't even turn it on until the end of April/beginning of May. There always birds that live in the building and will attack you when you try to come out and leave bird ---- everywhere , we told them SO many times and they did NOTHING about it besides clean the bird ---- . Do not I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX !!! Save yourself the time and money.

                                      I have lived here for about 1 month now. I was having a really bad time at my previous apartment complex and felt unsafe. So far it has been great living here. My neighbors are very nice and it stays quiet for the most part. My only complaint would be the parking when i get home late at night after work there is no parking. Office staff is very helpful and when my heat went out last week the Maintenance team was over to fix it right away. Would definitely recommend living here!

                                        Yesterday was my last day. I filled the whole term of me lease. When I signed up for my lease I was verbally told that gas, water, trash, and a couple of other things are included in your rent. What they meant was that when you get your first bill it will be added on top of your monthly rent. The noise most of the time is normal but lately someone has been setting off fireworks which I am cool with if it was around the July and if it wasn't an artillery shell. Safety my brand new car was stolen alone with about 8 others. Lots of homeless people walking around the complex. It is close to the bus station. Maintenance and office staff in the past have lied and take a long time to fix stuff. Waited a month to get my toilet fixed after I told them. Maybe the new office staff is better.                                           Overall in the last six months the management staff changed quite a bit. Seems like they have people that know what they're doing now. Anthony the leasing agent was a pleasure to speak. The property is getting much better overall. One thing I ask is if we would stop raising rents!

                                              I recently had an issue with my heater. Thus it is a really old property we had no heater for about 3 weeks. The Maintenance Supervisor Homero as well as Izzy made sure to keep in contact with us and take good care. I had no one ever provide me such good customer. I now have heat and I really appreciate all Heights has done for me and my family.

                                                  Very Easy to lease an apartment at Heights on Huron as all the lease paperwork can be done online. They had a great move-in special which took $750 off our move in cost. Brittney is super helpful and will do her best to accommodate you. My family and I have only lived here for a week now. So far we like it. The community is quite. Very close to I-25, as well as a bunch of stores and restaurants. Now that not so good things about this property. 1) Apartment was not move-in ready on the day we moved in. Spats of paint on patio floor, cigarette butts inside patio, carpets not glued down in both rooms, bathroom shelves bent. 2) Buildings are on a boiler system. That means that in the winter time your apartment will always have the heat on and vice versa in the summer time. Its early February and our thermostat says its 78 degrees inside the apartment. This is a big issue for us as we have a 21 month old infant and my wife will be delivering any day now. We most likely won't be renewing our lease next year because of the way… See More>

                                                    Q: I am considering breaking lease because our neighbor wont stop giving noise complaints about being able to hear my dogs and i walk on the floor above her. We are to the point of having no flexibility in our own home with out risk of being evicted. Lease is very confusing on this subject. Does anyone know heights on hurons policy about leaving 3-4 months early. Do i have to pay 4 more months of rent if i move early or is there a flat fee that i need to pay to terminate the lease and not owe rent for the rest of my broken lease. Fyi i currently still have 6 months left
