Gym equipment once it breaks doesn't get fixed for 6 months still the same only one of two pieces for the bow flex style machine like the hand straps. Blinds don't work on one large side of the gym all of the fire pits are down for years. The staff like Francsca doesn't get back to you and makes excuses, maintenance is really nice and good. The place looks dirty and run down in the kitchen area outside and screens. We pay a lot of money, but the community features are run down and dirty. Francesca will cut you off when your trying to tell her your problem and make excuses to just get you out of her hair. The gate is broke every 6 months and or key fobs.

Overall is a good complex but it needs to be better taken care of. There are so parts of the complex that need deep cleaning. Also the personnel in the club house need to answer the phone and emails quicker.

Safe area, however; there are many things in the apartment which have been recently malfunctioning or stop working altogether. Examples include: dishwasher, smoke detectors, and a leaky washing machine. I understand things break and that is normal, but the maintenance team needs some re-training, organization or both. It takes multiple attempts to try to get something fixed, whether it be putting in a work order, calling the office, and visiting the office. Sometimes, the issue does not even get resolved and it is frustrating given the high rent costs.

We moved in 3 months ago. Upon move in there were several things that needed to be fixed. They never fixed them despite following up several times. They assured us weeks ago that we were next on the list. I like the area and the amenities but having to go over 3 months to get basic items fixed is unreasonable when you're paying over $2,000 per month.

The location is wonderful. But there are quite a few things that need fixing and have not been attended to for quite some time. The fountain, soap dispensers in the bathroom, summer kitchen grill, the gates, the door on the resident lounge, covers for the lights in the breezeways, and the fire pits.

Mostly all is good here with some exceptions. The management is good at sending notices to renters to keep their trash from being placed outside on non pickup days. However I see many renters do so without any appearance of a follow through. This leaves areas with blown trash and of course food smells that are not good to be around ever. Also at times gates a wide open and anyone can come it rather easily. This happens not a lot but at times and even noticed it on Sunday too when no one is in the office. The holiday parties however are very nice and well done so I wanted to add that as well for you to know. Thank you

My experience living at Echo Lake over the past four years has been nothing but fantastic. From the staff, including the front office and maintenance to the beautiful amenities, I feel blessed to call this place home. The grounds are kept pristine and clean, the pool area is something like you would see at a resort. The park area includes a volleyball court a dog park, a covered gazebo with grills. I never have to leave. It's everything I need in one spot and the location could not be better. With a Publix less than five minutes away along with other restaurants in stores, there's no reason to leave my bubble. I've been so pleased and I hope I can call this place home for a while.

After searching for a number of weeks I walked into Echo Lake Apartments and even before I went into the office I just walked around the complex and I immediately had this feeling of a vibrant community. Residents having fun with their children walking around the lake or in the pool. Having walked around some more looking at the amenities I would classify them as being First Rate. The office and maintenance teams are professional, knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond. I would recommend Echo Lake Apartments to anyone looking for that same feeling off community.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the past near four (4) years here at Echo Lake Apartments, Lakewood Ranch! Jodi and her entire staff are both professional and very responsive to satisfying the needs of their residents. The entire complex is manicured to perfection and the facilities are well maintained. I would highly recommend Echo Lake to both young single professionals, couples and families alike. The amenities can keep everyone occupied without ever leaving the property. The only concern I have is the rising rental costs, due primarily to the supply and demand in this area, may make it impossible for those of us living on our monthly Social Security checks to remain here. My personal hope is that management may consider flexibility in setting renewal rates for those retirement age residents that have limited and fixed income given the continued upward trajectory of rising costs of living expenses over the past several years!

It has been so far a great community. However, in the past year there has been a lot of smokers that have been moving in. Unless I am no aware, echo lake circle is still a smoke free community. I believe, management should let new tenants know about it and penalize those tenants that violate this rule. Because of this increasing issue, I am planning to move out.

The community feel is great. Seeing people out and about walking and kids playing is nice. But that's where the nice ends. The office staff and maintenance are pretty close to useless. They look all good on the frontside but getting them to do anything once you move in is nothing less than completely frustrating. You feel like you are bothering them when you walk in. You have to go in multiple times and they still don't do what you asked. Maintenance isn't consistent and sometimes takes several tries before they come. My apartment at move in wasn't clean and I was lied to about the carpet being cleaned. I was told it was shampooed when it wasn't even vacuumed from the last resident. It still had indentations from a bedroom trash can in the carpet and hair all over the floor. The place is visibly falling apart due to the lack of care and even when safety hazards are pointed out it takes days for them to be resolved.

The community was extraordinary when I moved in. The staff are all friendly, but quality of maintenance, common areas, and other issues have gone severely downhill. I was extremely happy here in the past and no longer am. Tenants around me for noise, too many people in apartments etc.

For the most part the community is nice, but the gates are always broken. The new fob for the walkways only work half the time and it's so dangerous with an infant in a stroller to be walking where cars go through.

It is a beautiful place to live and you have all the amenities at hand but the administration is very lenient with noisy neighbors, they do not impose penalties and they do what they want, there is no law for them. On the other hand, the main door remains open all the time for those who feel that they are not safe, the administration office does nothing to solve it either.

I enjoy living at Echo Lake Apartments. The units are clean and well laid out, the grounds are kept up, office staff and maintenance excellent. If an improvement could be made it would be more sound proofing in my ceiling, from hearing upstairs foot steps. However, not a deal breaker I will be here for a long time.

Great amenities and well-kept grounds. The office staff and maintenance are terrible: we had to submit multiple requests, visit the office several times, and make phone calls after phone calls to get things fixed. More than a month without usable appliances. Days without a fire extinguisher upon it being picked up for inspection on the scheduled date. The ladies at the office are nonchalant, and you have to repeat the same thing every time you deal with them because they don't write notes or keep them accessible and organized. The fire alarm control panel in our building has been beeping daily for months. I have never seen such an incompetent and careless staff.

This community is great! There are many ways to get involved and meet your neighbors. I've noticed that the hallways are way dirtier than I moved in. A lot of the street lights don't work which is also annoying, especially at night. Overall I feel like it's a very safe area. Another thing is that I've had so many issues with the AC going out. And also the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors

The community, was beautiful when I moved in back in 2021. Since then it has slowly deteriorated. The grounds are not kept up to where they were once. My neighbor in the next building has 3 work trucks 2 cars and takes up 5 spots. Changes his brakes his oil and repairs his car every weekend. I look out my window and shake my head because no one in the office does a thing about it. The apartment bylaws say you cannot leave your trash outside but people continue to leave the trash in the hallways, again no one enforces the rules. I really hate to see this property decline because it use to be a gem in Lakewood ranch. I hope they can get a handle on it before it is too far out of control.

There is no sense of a “community”. The pool is really only usable in the summer because it’s not heated and it’s freezing for kids to go in. Grills are always disgusting and not clean. There is maybe one event a year? Halloween which is honestly pathetic and had no turn out this year. Dog parks are just an area of dead grass and dirt. Walls are paper thin also so basically no privacy. The playground is very small and only occupies kids for a short amount of time. Cars are constantly broken into. People in the office are rude and have difficulty speaking in a respectful and professional tone. The gates are broken 90% of the time. I have asked northland to explain rent going up every year and the response was ‘because that’s the market’. So just because they can. When I brought up my concerns I was asked to look at other places. We have been here almost 4 years and with the amount of rent cannot afford the down payment first/last months rent etc…. Really shows how much they care about tenants. It’s no wonder why the patios are all looking pretty empty lately
