With all living situations there are pros and cons. We lived here over 2 years. Rent raises every year but not by too much. We would still live here if we stayed in Jacksonville. Pros: The grounds & interior are very aesthetically pleasing! Though keep in mind, the construction and fixtures are not well made (cheap). The amenities are above par! Immediate surrounding nieghborhood is good (Kernan towards UNF, Beach blvd. towards Hodges). Cons: The walls are PAPER THIN! I live on the top floor and I can hear the people below, beside AND in front of me. You will hear EVERYTHING. Staff has a high turn-over. No military discounts.

North Beach on Kernan

Dear Resident, Thank you for your comments about North Beach on Kernan. In response to staffing, it is normal in the apartment industry to have staffing turnover. Employees get promoted and/or transferred and some employees decide to give their notice for personal reasons. When we hire new employees, sometime they are from another sister community or they are recommended by a current employee. We have a great staff at North Beach and we strive to do our best at all times. In response to resident concerns: I assure you that we do not think that someone is a pest. We invite you to let us know when something is wrong so that we can take care of the situation. But we cannot do anything until we are made aware of them.
