I would not recommend north beach. The noise is terrible and you can hear anything and everything. I heard the lady below us sneeze if that can explain how much of a noise problem there is. The floors are hollow and you feel as if you need to tip toe to not disturb the people below you. The front doors slam shut behind you so if you have neighbors that don't care you will hear doors slam all day.
The maintenance people are ver nice and everyone at the front desk is ver helpful. Overall north beach would be great if they would have spent the money soundproofing correctly. The amenities are very nice and the grounds are kept up. The apartment itself has nice finishes and is spacious.
