I've only lived at North Beach since April, but I can honestly say that I've really enjoyed it here so far. We have a young son who thoroughly enjoys going for a wagon ride around the beautiful big lake, and seeing the ducks and turtles. It's a pet-friendly community, and my dog really likes meeting the other dogs and their friendly owners. Everyone picks up after their pet, too, which is a BIG plus for me. Our family also likes the pool; it's clean and family-friendly, and we haven't heard any big parties or anything.
The apartment itself is nice and updated, with high ceilings and modern finishes. My wife and I especially enjoy drinking coffee on the screened-in porch on the weekends. The master tub / closet / bedroom are all spacious, and the rooms hold a lot of furniture (we came from a 4-bed house and got all the important stuff in there).
Overall, it's a nice, quiet place. I hear our upstairs neighbors at times, but c'mon, it's an apartment complex, so you're going to hear that stuff sometimes. We haven't heard any loud parties or anything; everyone seems real chill and friendly. The only downside is that parking can be tight at times, but other than that, I really like and highly recommend living here.
