The apartment I live in is quite nice. My issues are not with the apartment itself, it is more with the responsiveness from the office and maintenance when I have needed their services. I am not pleased at all. I find myself needing to follow up on my requests numerous times before they take care of it. My last issue dealt with my hot tub not working. It took them 2 months to send someone to even look at it. I think that's inacceptable. Had I not paid rent even for a day, they'd be real quick at my door or on my phone trying to solve "their" issue of non-payment. That's the same attention they ought to give to their residents' needs.

When we signed the lease for first time it was so easy and fast. We had a good customer service. The app is easy to use and the maintenance service is really good, fast and the personal is really friendly.

Everything is good..but some neighbors are really annoying is 3 or 4 and they have music all loud and dropping stuff in the floor like they are broking something.. at nite time is bad to sleep sometime..specially my kids

It’s been fine so far, but the neighborhood seems to be undergoing a demographic change, and the safety is a bit of a concern (i.e. the homeless person sleeping at the pool and multiple cop cars that have shown up around my apartment) so I would not want to stay here for longer than a year.

I had a leak in my kitchen. The water leak was repaired quickly. You can't even tell it was damaged. The maintenance crew was very respectful of my property. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

No one cares after you move in they do not take care of any problems the only thing this community cares about is taking payment then they want you to leave so they can get more security deposits that are non refundable

I was fine until I’ve recently had continuous issues with communication with management. I am the one home with my daughter and I deal with all maintenance requests and I am the one who submits it. I always communicate with the office and maintenance team and I leave my name, number and email but then they proceed to text and call my husband at work. So at this point I feel like they are deliberately ignoring me and my requests. Other than that, apartment complex is fine, the maintenance people have been fine.

Living at Retreat was a good first apartment when moving to the states. Maintenance is fast and friendly, the office is pretty responsive and the apartment in comfortable. My apartment specifically was very noisy (next to the highway and I could hear the upstairs neighbors very clearly) and the flooring could be better (the material made it very easy to rip and damage with very little weight on it), but overall, it was a good apartment. The rent payment process could be looked at, given that we ran into a couple of situations that could've been avoided if they attempted to charge more than once (which they say they will but didn't), but considering it was once in two years, I wouldn't let it deter me from renting again.

The Retreat at Lakeland is an excellent place to stay. I feel right at home here. I feel very blessed to have found this place coming from Jacksonville FL. I love all of the amenities especially the many trees here. The staff and maintenance team are very professional.

It's an okay apartment. I understand it is very large, but having to call days after putting in a maintenance request shouldn't be on me. Just not my favorite place. Would really like if they could also enforce handicap parking.

they did not repair anything, the weather strip i asked for them to repair they decided to DYI it and if broke off the same day i have asked for them to go back and fixed it and i get no response. the bedroom window is leaking water every time it rains i have asked them to come fix it and they put a plastic bag over the top a couple days later it fell off and they haven't been back to fix it i put in that request over two weeks ago. i have a bug infestation in my apartment they havent done a single thing to fix it. if my wife or i get sick from the bugs entering i will be suing this apartment complex

I'd only move here if you can't afford somewhere else. It's fine enough but management is severely lacking. It's not trashy, but when we moved in our apartment wasn't even cleaned, the AC broke in the first month and the internet a part of the community package wasn't set up (all supposed guarantees before move in.)

The office & maintenance staff is awesome. The response times are pretty good, considering the number of residents over here. Attention is needed to seal the windows in the units due to worn seals that’s noticeable. Besides the older cabinets and doors being painted over. It’s livable and the new management is doing the right things to get things on track.

Maintenance issues are lengthy to resolve but orher than that very good overall. Staff is very accommodating and friendly . Amenities are great … tennis , pickleball, two pools , ping pong , weight room , food trucks , community events , gas grills , package pickup. Buildings are in very good shape for their age . Layouts of interior are nice. Decent parking areas. Pet freindly. Landscape has an abundance of trees ( doesn’t look like a concrete/asphalt jungle ) Needs front gate to work to prevent unwanted criminal activity. Overall it is a very nice place to put your feet up and call it home

I have enjoyed living here it’s a quiet place in where I live. I have enjoyed the landscaping of the community and the up keep of it. You informed the tenants of any thing thats about to take place like pool closures, pot holes repair, food truck on the premises with time of stay and if they cancel.

It was OK The staff was great but the apartment was not the best. Very dark apartment and lots of bugs The people upstairs didn’t have any respect for the tenant downstairs. The staff responded quickly to the complaint and made calls and sent letters.

Multiple car break ins right in front of our apartment building almost every weekend, front gate is for show it doesn’t close, mulch in dog park looks horrible and not comfortable for dogs, landscaping is not kept up with, old trees constantly falling off onto cars, always some kind of leak like gas or water in community, lots of raccoons, charge for trash valet when they don’t always collect your trash, charge for package locker when some packages still get delivered to your front door. Looks nice while touring but to live in you find out the truths with all the maintenance issues your apartment will have.

Amenities are all broken or unsanitary I do not recommend this place to anyone it falling apart all the plumbing and electrical is rotted and if you need maintenance good luck they have no problem charging you extra money for anything but when u have a problem they take there time and or sometimes never resolve it but you must continue to pay rent or they kick you out even if you hold it until they fix your problems and believe me they are always problems some people get more then others

I have been living at Retreat for a month now. I am satisfied with everything. When I have a problem,it is taken care of immediately. Right after I moved in ,my air conditioner froze up.The Maintenance man was knocking at my door to fix it. Then a week later my sink sprung a leak and my kitchen was flooded. The maintenance man was knocking at my door to fix the problem.

In six months, terrible. Bedroom ceiling fan doesn’t work. Submitted a maintenance request the day I moved in because it was broken. 3 weeks later, someone enters my apartment without permission, supposedly to look at the fan. Noisy neighbors.

The rmaintenence request is not finished. And no one has contacted me about it. I also was told you were coming on a certain day and time and you did not I had to send several email and speak with maintenance manager. I still have your equipment in my apartment and no one has scheduled a time to come pick it up. Or come with the meter I was told you where coming with to check if mold was going to grow. When I move out you better not charge me for the watermarks you still have yet to address. I have had few maintenance requests in the 2 years I have been here and have had to become Irate every time for anything to get done. I am fed up with the maintenance department and me having to take time to make sure you follow through. Again I better not get charged when I move out. I have a written record of everything. VERY UNHAPPY!

trees everywhere and I have pollen allergies so it is hard on occasion, and the outside of my apartments walkways is covered in pollen. friendly staff, but maintenance left my dishwasher not running and ignored my request for help hanging tv for a month. the water tastes bad, and there was mold in my toilet when I moved in. beautiful grounds, and accessibility areas. mail is at the front outside the gate instead of at the apartments and the package room is inside the gate, but the gate doesn't even work
