I think the best way to review the Fontainebleau Apartments is by breaking it down into pros and cons.
Pros:
-Very dog friendly community.
-The leasing process uses Jetty, which allows you to break down the deposit into affordable monthly payments, depending on credit, which gives potential tenants flexibility up front with their budget.
-The maintenance team is pretty responsive if you need maintenance in your unit.
-The units themselves are pretty cozy.
-The rent prices are pretty affordable by Miami standards, especially in the blurred line between Fontainebleau and Doral area.
-The pool is nice.
-The gym, though small, is also nice. (Membership is extra.)
-At times, management will organize community events in the pool area, which is a nice touch.
Cons:
-Parking is a hassle if you happen to arrive home after say 10 o'clock.
-The parking lots and garages flood easily and quickly after consecutive days of rain.
-Pet owners are pretty irresponsible at times. Brace yourself for constant pee puddles and unattended poop droppings.
-Double parking is a serious issue. You will weave in and out of double parked cars on a daily basis.
-As a pedestrian, you will also weave in and out of cars because there are no clear sidewalks, especially at the main entrance.
-Rampant marijuana smell, especially at night and around playground and pool areas.
-Tenants are not the brightest.
-Tenants leave trash and other items just outside of the trash chute, also leave discarded furniture in the common areas.
-Fire alarms could go off at any moment without notice.
