We moved in a few months ago at first things were great. Beautiful property apartments are decent. The price was ridiculous, not only do you have to pay for cable (that you don't want) added into the rent monthly but the hidden fees were too much to handle. We got behind on rent and instead of working something out with us we got a notice followed by an eviction notice almost instantly. I was working hard to get the money together to get back on track but than I was blocked from making the payment. They obviously only care about the money and not the people just trying to live their lives. I mean honestly who hasn't gotten behind from time to time. They have two pools and one of them were never open and one night we were a little later in the pool and when we were told it was closing time we get out of the pool to find the night security man shining his flashlight in my car and having his head in my car looking in it. When I said something to him and asked him why he was shining his light in my car his response was because he can. I was appalled by this I again told him he had no right to have his head in my car looking through my things he just continued to tell me he can do what he wants as he than shined his light in my face while I was backing my car up. At this point I was furious with the situation and told him to get his +++++++ flashlight out of my face while I'm trying to back my car up to bring it back to my apartment. He than came to the driver side of my car threatening to kick my +++ and kicked my car (my 9 year old daughter was with me) because of that entire situation and the cut off of allowing me to make my payments I decided this housing wasn't for me and my family. It was best for us to part ways. Sadly now it looks as if I have an eviction so Its really hard for me to find another home for my family. The manager is very sweet and she was the only one that I spoke with who was genuine in handling our issues, unfortunately some things are out of her hands seeing as how they are run by a property management company. I do have a lawyer looking into the situation because I think there should be a way to part ways from a contract that the situation wasn't good for my family. I know that they need to protect themselves from problem tenants but we should have the equal right to protect us as tenants. We are locked into a contract so the apartment complex has you either way, you continue to live somewhere where you are unhappy or you get sued and reprimanded for looking for something that better suites you.
