Paddock Park is a great location in Ocala if you are looking for access to stores and restaurants; however, I would not recommend this apartment complex. First off, there is always trash lying around the property and the maintanance staff take no pride in the work they do.. I had a flood in my apartment and I called the emergency maintenance line and never got a response! I had to call the office over 4 times to get a response.. Then, after they came and fixed the ac leak/ flood, my carpet was still like a puddle and I had to walk in the office to get someone to dry the carpet and they never came back to get the blower. I had to pick up a 25 pound blower and take it back to the office after it sat In my apartment for over a week with no response from the office or maintenance staff. My lease ends in June and I will not be renewing my lease. Staff here think they can just enter an apartment without the consent of the resident. Federal law mandates that apartment staff give residents a minimum of 24 hours notice. will not waste money on a company that has no respect for their residents, no pride in their property by all the garbage that lies around and has no communication practices. Paddock Park recently changes names and management companies and I've never seen a transition go as terrible as it has with little communication to residents... There are no newsletters, emails, they don't even have a website yet... Look elsewhere. I will not be staying here long. Also, I've never seen an apartment full of bugs, palmetto bugs and everything in between..I pay for pest control but I don't know why, they never come around and it doesn't fix the bug problem.
