These apartments have gone downhill with customer service since the new ownership. They care more about the grounds keeping to attract new residents than servicing their current residents. We will be moving out soon and breaking our lease. Our refrigerator has been out for 3 months because every time they supposedly repair it, it breaks again and we have had to throw away about $100 worth of groceries 3 times and tried to get them to deduct the $300 from our rent or give us a walmart card or something, but they would not. Our smoke detector also went out and they took 3 weeks to get that replaced. When we asked why they did not consider that an emergency, they said they did. They explained it away by saying that maintenance filled out the report saying they had fixed it. This was the same thing they told us after 3 different maintenance guys came to look at our AC. After the 3rd guy said like the other 2 guys that he would be back in a week after he ordered a part. When he never showed the office said the same as before, that the maintenance guy had filled out the report that the AC was fixed. And the bugs!! You are paying for pest control, but they never tell you when you move in that they will only come spray if you request it. You think they are spraying, but they're not. And if you don't watch cable TV and don't want cable, you have no choice. They still charge it on top of your rent in the amount of $40 per month and that's hardly any channels. When I called cox to tell them my channels and where I lived they said it would be only $29.99 per month if I had ordered it myself. So they are making a profit on you with cox cable by marking it up! It is also supposed to be a gated community aND the gates gave been broken since I moved in 2 years ago just before the new ownership. They told me they were working on it and it would be safely gated soon. Well, 2 years later it looks like they are trying to still make people think they are working on it after nothing had been done for 3 years. They put these railroad looking things in front of the gate for the entrance if they were going to use these instead, or maybe just temporarily until gates were working. But they did not put these at the exit gate. They actually got the exit gate working. (Way to go.....let's keep people in, but not worry about non residents entering after hours to vandalize or burglerize). And the electrical wiring is all old. I have to buy a new blow dryer almost every month. And....there was an electrical Fire scare just the other nite and the firetruck had to come a building down from me. The people I was talking to outside, said they were not surprised because they had wiring issues too and also mentioned they were waiting on all kinds of maintenance repairs as we spoke more. I could go on and on......
