no refund after 4 months

I paid the application fees and a holding fee 2 days before my son and his roommates were asked to pay ( or lose the apartment) which they did, in person, at the office. When I asked for a refund for one of the payments, they referred me to "corporate" but did not give me a contact number, an invoice reflecting my payment, and I have yet to see the lease the boys signed, to find out what their $350.00 exactly was for. It has been 4 months, and I have not seen a refund check. How can I get the number for the department that is responsible for the refunds?
