The apartment itself is gorgeous. The kitchen sells it. However, if you can handle the ladies in the front office and the maintenance staff's rudeness, then I would say this is your place.
If you are looking for an apartment complex that makes you feel at home...THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.
When we moved in they "forgot" our move in date. However, they had all the leasing papers for us to sign ready and gave us the keys to our apartment. When we walked into the apartment they forgot to clean it. They even left dried urine on the toilet seat.
When we paid rent the first time, they sent us a letter of eviction. They stated we did not pay the rent. However, we had a cleared check, that was cleared before the first of the month. We paid prior to the due date, the cashed the checked, but wanted to evict us because they thought we did not pay. When we went down and checked on this, they informed us that their computers do not talk to each other and it was an error on their part.
Our blinds also did not work from the start of our lease. It took us, literally six weeks, and a call to corporate to get our blinds replaced. Their excuse in the front office was that we had a toddler and that they were afraid to give us new blinds because she might break them. I wish I would have know that this was a violation of Fair Housing, I would have reported them right then and there.
To top it all off, we had requested bug service in our apartment. We made sure we had everything ready for them. I came home early to clean the place so our 19 month old daughter's toys would not have pesticide on them. I noticed when I walked in that it did not "smell" like a bug man had been there. I called the front office and they informed me that they did not have a key to our apartment and therefore could not spray. How can an apartment complex not have a key to your apartment?!?!
There is absolutely no parking here. People will park behind you and make you late to work. I called about a car that was parking right behind me and the management staff said I should wake up an hour early to call the tow truck company to ensure that the car was towed before I had to leave for work.
The management staff does not work for you. They are against you. Wendy, the "boss", has to be one of the rudest individuals I have ever met.
Again, the apartment is gorgeous, but we are leaving because we do not want to be treated like third class citizens. The management staff is absolutely the worst!
