The customer service, extended by the office staff is second to none. They are always ready to assist you the best way possible, at the same time offering solutions once an issue occurs. The gym and pool are easy to access, the maintenance team can be heard very early in the mornings keeping the grounds clean. There are however, two issues that are daunting and can be addressed. Maintenance of the staircase and breezeway and also an additional means for garbage disposal.

The people are kind and welcoming, always willing to chat about their day or ask how you're doing. We just welcomed a new dog and we are handling the kennel training and they have been so understanding! The complex itself lacks some of the community amenities, but has a small but packed gym and a decent pool. The parking in some areas are slim and without a truly available dumping area for most parts of the complex. All in all I have enjoyed my time!

My experience at Village at Southern Oaks has been nothing short of incredible. From the moment my husband and I first visited, we were met with amazing hospitality by the manager and staff, and that warmth has continued ever since. We've had a couple of minor issues, but each time they were resolved almost immediately, thanks to the wonderful 24-hour maintenance staff. I absolutely love this community and our beautiful 2/2 apartment. Coming home every day brings me a sense of peace and joy. The quiet serenity here is so comforting. I especially love seeing the birds, ducks, and turtles that visit our little pond?it makes the place feel so much more homey and welcoming. Everything this community offers is so well thought out, and it truly shows. I couldn't recommend Village at Southern Oaks enough.

I have been living at Village At Southern Oaks since 2015. This is a very nice, well cared for apartment building. The maintenance staff is great. They take very good care of the aapartments. I like the gated entrance and feel safe here.

I have had an excellent experience. The apartment complex is very tidy. Service is excellent and punctual. Pleasant staff around the grounds. Office team is great to talk to and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone I know.

Supposed to be a gated community but the gates have not both been closed for four months now. If they close the entry gate then they leave the exit gate open. Have seen many people go in the exit gate. I do not feel safe here. It is an older apartment complex, probably better built than newer apartments so the noise is somewhat subdued. I can still hear crying kids, barking dogs and people walking around above me. It was just worse at the last place I lived in.

Very quiet place to live. Other neighbors are very nice. Maintenance staff is always quick to fix any issues that arise. Office staff always pleasant and available to answer questions. Great onsite gym. Pool is always clean.

I love living here! The staff and residents are super nice, and you can just tell that the residents love living here as well. Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly, with the normal exception of waiting for parts to come in, and all maintenance staff are very helpful. I plan to stay here for years to come!

We were BLESSED by God with a perfect apartment in a perfect community in 2015 and have enjoyed every minute of our time here! Thus far, my and my roommates' experience at this apartment community has been great. The complex is well-kept and the staff are very nice and incredibly helpful whenever there is an issue (such as the A/C going out, which has happened a few times for us and they were willing to work with us every time to fix it). We do get a decent bit of noise from surrounding apartments (walls seem to be fairly thin), but besides this, we have had a fantastic experience so far.

It's been a good place to live, however, it's also an older community and although rental properties have gotten more expensive it's hard to believe that our community is worth what is charged. I'm thankful it's a gated community I just really wish that there were great incentives to bring a faithful part of the community.

The community is nicely managed. It is well maintained and any issues are handled promptly. The community is always looking to upgrade the existing property to keep up with area standards without continuously raising prices.

Overall the experience has been great with the community. However, I do wish that appliances were more of an upgrade. The washer and dryer are constantly breaking and the fridge still leaks even after a replacement.

Staff is awesome! Always a pleasant experience answering any concerns or issues I have! The windows in this complex need to be replaced. Using blackout curtains, closed blinds and the electric bill is still very high! You can feel the heat or cold through the windows. The residents need to realize we live amongst each other. They do not pick up after their pets. There are dog piles all over. Their guests park where residents are supposed to park. Overall a great place to live.

The community is reasonably quiet,very clean, and exceedingly good. The staff is one hundred percent friendly. They respond to any and all problems that may need to be addressed by the maintenance staff in a rapid and proficient manner.

The management team here is so kind and helpful. Maintenance is prompt, and overall living here has been pleasant, with a few exceptions. They don't always seem to follow the pet policy, as I've seen (and constantly hear barking from) several large/potentially aggressive breed dogs and owners are lazy about cleaning up after them. The gate has frequent issues, and the pool could be maintained a little better for sure. Adding trash cans around the property might help keep it looking nicer.

Everyone is friendly here including the maintenance and office staff. We never feel like a burden asking something of them. There's not much to complain about because it is our first apartment however our only gripe is the one group who's not friendly and inconsiderate is our upstairs neighbor haha. Oh well though. We don't mind it too much.

Absolutely love living here! It's a very peaceful community. The gates make me feel safe to walk my dog whenever. It's nice feeling like my car is safe at night as well. The grounds and amenities are all kept up with beautifully. The staff is all extremely friendly. My dog and I feel welcome here.

The road to the complex (North blue angel) is backed up a lot of the time! It is a one lane and the traffic is always terrible no matter the time of day. The gate is slow or often not working. It would be a lot more efficient if they gave remotes to the gate vs the key card, the entrance/ exit is an odd design and it is difficult to maneuver through and get close to the key pad. The property could use some updates; the bathrooms & kitchen are outdated. The grounds are well kept, however it would be better if the property had a privacy fence from the neighboring complex. The pool & work out room are a little small. I do like that the apartments come with a washer/dryer. All in all, it's pretty expensive in a not ideal location.

The community is good, quiet, most people I have encountered are friendly. I have experienced more bugs at this apartment than I have ever before. It would be nice if monthly exterminator services were offered.
