Awful experience
They owe me a refund check and it’s been almost two Months . They processed the 1st one on 2/24 and sent it to the wrong address . Very simple , I have asked for them to cancel the 1st check and send another one . They have not . Office employees are not helpful at all . I’ll keep writing bad reviews until I receive my money or am told it’s has been sent to the correct address .

BEWARE OF MOLD!
Condensed version: BEWARE OF MOLD! HVAC vents were full of it, made me sick, and they refused to allow me to break lease. Below are the details. I have chronic inflammatory response syndrome and have an very strong inflammatory and respiratory health reaction to mold. I signed a lease sight The Crossing at Palm Aire without seeing the actual apartment. I did see a demo apartment that was nice, but not the one that I actually moved into. I was from out of state, moving to the area, and assumed that because these were built in 2023 they would be mold-free. Upon move-in day, I immediately began having a strong health reaction to the apartment. Upon inspection of the air vents, it was very evident there was a mold problem in the vents probably due to condensation. See the attached photos from my unit. I requested to be able to look at other apartments in the complex and they gave me tours of 3 other units. ALL OF THEM had mold in the ducts! I requested to be allowed to break the lease without penalty, as I had not moved in yet, and they refused to allow this. Instead, they scheduled a cleaner to come and professionally clean the vents. However, once this was done, I still was having a strong inflammatory and respiratory reaction to the apartment. I took an ERMI mold dust sample test of the apartment to document my issues. Attached is a screenshot of the results. As you can see, there were multiple mold strains present. This result puts the home as worse than 95% of homes in America for individuals with mold sensitivities like myself. I emailed the results over to Palm Aire and again requested to be able to cancel the lease without penalty since I hadn’t been able to move in. I received this response from them: “We have also reviewed the documentation you submitted from MyCometrics. At this time, this report is considered invalid, as the sampling and testing were conducted by the individual rather than by a licensed professional.â€ I even signed a lease at another apartment complex that the same company owns, and they still insisted on charging me for breaking the lease. This will end up costing me probably around $8k in penalties, as well as days of stress trying to finding a new place while being temporarily homeless. Even if you don’t have mold sensitivities like myself, I’d urge you to stay away. They live by the letter of the law, not the spirit, and unfortunately aren’t willing to extend grace. Please be very careful.

Review
The leasing office staff is unprofessional and unresponsive. They rarely return calls or emails, and getting any issue resolved feels impossible. Their attitude is dismissive, and they don’t seem to care about resident concerns. Very disappointing experience overall.

The Gym sold me just from pictures. I gives a feeling of truly being inna gym space since its spacious when compared to most complex gyms. Amanda made it that much more of an experience with her courteousness and knowledge of the Crossing At Palm Aire. From floor plans to which turn leads where.
