I have lived at Willow Brook apartment complex from August of 2015 to August 2016. I am extremely unsatisfied with my whole experience

All the apartments and furniture are very old,
In the beginning of my lease, I had problems with bugs,
Maintenance and management are very unprofessional and rude,
On March 2016, my water heater was on fire because of a poor installation. Staff and maintenance did nothing after the accident,
Gym and laundry rooms are closed and they do not tell when they will be open again
The whole apartment complex has a serious problem with water. For more than 3 months, they would shut down the water without notice,
It took them 5 months to give my deposit back

Do not even think about moving to this place, it&apos;s a scam and you will have a horrible experience. You can drive around the apartment complex and ask any tenant what they think about the apartment complex and I am sure that all of them will have negative things to say. I would never come back to this place.

I give ZERO stars across the board!!!!
Don&apos;t live here! Office staff does not care about tenets. 
RUN, WALK, CRAWL JUST DON&apos;T COME HERE!!!!!!!! I have lived here for 5 years.  A class action law Suite has begun. The new owners and their represented by JAMES WESLEY (site manager Pacifica SD out of San Diego) my advice to prospective renters don&apos;t care about their tenants, DO NOT COME HERE. YOU WOULD BE BETTER LIVING ON THE STREET HOMELESS!!!!! ALL OF THE OTHER REVIEWS (2016) ARE CORRECT ABOUT THE PROBLEMS. Most of the problems they brought on themselves. They let the drinking water broken pipe leak at a rate of 2.5 gallons per minute from 5 feet below grade for two week before getting a plumber on site to work. The water was metered coming out of the ground into a container. That opened a sink hole. A sewer pipe was two feet from the leaking drinking water pipe and that sewer pipe was also leaking. So sewer water was getting into the drinking water. . They say the sewer pipe is no longer in use. Then why would the plumbers replace the broken sewer pipe? Lately it takes almost 7 days to get a work order taken care of. That is after reminding the office staff 3 time about the request. When the new owners took over I asked about the time frame for completion of maintenance request. I was told in January 2016 that all maintenance request will be taken care of in 48 hours or less. This is a lie! DO NOT MOVE IN! Office staff is VERY rude, arrogant and condescending to tenants. When one asks about when problems will be resolved, James Wesley (site manager) tells you to leave the office. He does not know how to treat tenants with respect and he DOES NOT CARE!!!!!! They gave only a select few people a reduced rate for water. They should have given it to all and sent a notice to all telling about the rebate. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

I can&apos;t wait to move out here bc this is so horrible. I&apos;ve been having plumbing issues for third this year and nobody has seem to have the solution to this shit yet. On top of that they want you to 818.00 for rent ??Really that&apos;s highway robbery. The maintenance personnel are never to be found when you have an issue. They&apos;re constantly changing property management and nothing seems to get right. The pest situation is horrible and nasty as well as the trash compartment it&apos;s never well kept trash is just everywhere. I&apos;m just like what we paying rent for then. This is my last year staying and I&apos;m never looking back????. Oh yeah and the gym area is not even open so that picture that you see is a lie straight out of hell. The laundry room ?? What laundry room we don&apos;t have none. Trust me I&apos;m staying here as we speak and there isn&apos;t any laundry room at all. So I ask you with all this being said would you pay 818.00 for this crap ????

The pictures say all that is needed to say, the place many times dirty and little is done, even if you complain, dogs off leashes and crap every place, complaining does little. No pool, no laundry room or exercise area, closed for months, we were all, told that it would be opened in late December or early January, now they say first 2 weeks of February. It shows a play area for children, does not exist. The result, many residents have left.

The management at Willow Brooke is rascist and incompetent! They never fix anything and they are never there on weekends. I had to chase them down for almost two years to sign a new lease at one time. I was stuck there because of finances. I had a broken AC unit for 4 yrs, they never fixed it. They never took care of the roof. There was constant flooding. The apartments are infested with rats and roaches. There are drug dealers and sex offenders on the property as well. Please do not rent here!
