Be warned, this project is overrated and the corporate staff doesn't care about the residents. I had an issue with the neighbor's three dogs barking all times of the day and night. Staff ignored my concerns and stated that I hadn't kept them informed. Kinda funny since the leases state that a tenant is not allowed more than two pets. Selective enforcement at it's best. Not enough parking. The property has an enormous turn overrate of residents.
I personally spoke with the current and previous On Site Managers, the Regional Corporate VP and all their response were, I didn't do enough to keep the office informed. I can certainly post all my emails and phone logs to show that the office did zero, nada to correct this situation. Also, I am more than willing to post a recorded sound bite of all the excessive barking. I moved out about 45 days before my lease expired because I couldn't take the noise anymore. Everyone guess what Gables did because of the early move out date. Gables kept my deposit and is now suing me via a collection agency for the balance of the 45 days. Now is gets really funny, Gables rented the apartment during the 45 day period that they are suing for. So, the end result was they took the deposit, sued me for balance and rented the apartment within the 45 day period. The Mangers response to my review would lead anyone to believe that this involved a service animal, the tenant is actually is a Medical Doctor from New York with no known service animals and because he rented two apartments at Gables, both the On-Site Manager and the Corporate Office refused to do anything about the situation. Beware, Beware, Beware, As I previously mentioned Gables selectively enforces their leases.
