not as bad as the Amberstone apartments

I am not going into a long diatribe of this roach infested apartment complex! I will get to the point! We moved there in 2018, when it was owned by Corrina Maxima, at that time they had over 15-20 workers including maintenance. The hallways were completely clean and washed twice a week. The rent was 1300.00 for our 2 bedroom apartment which was not refurbished as some were completely re-done, which cost more. Ours was just painted. The kitchen only 1 person could fit. We moved here because of its friendly attitude towards pets. Both our dogs are service dogs. Cooper ended up dying because of the going up and down on the stairs, a very serious mistake on our part. They raised the rent 50.00 the next year. Okay not bad. COVID struck south Florida like an atomic bomb. They secretly sold the property to KVR properties for over 26 million dollars! When they took over they raised the rent on every tenant to over 70%!! do the math. Ours went to 1900.00 which we could not afford! We got help from the state during the COVID period and managed to get by. When they did this the tenants moved out in droves!!! KVR did not do anything about the growing infestation. During their tenure a man committed suicide in building 530. A little Haitian boy drowned in the pool next to our building 480. Needless to say, the pool remained closed for almost two years!! and still paying the same rent!!! Then they sold it at a huge loss due to KVR's incessant greed! It was purchased by another greedy slumlord company named "Woodward Properties" People still continued to move out. The apparently "Woodward Properties" greed was not enough, they raised the rent on us $100.00 now $2,000 per-month! It does not stop there!! They also began to charge tenants for water and garbage disposal adding another $100.00 dollars to the rent. You are paying for water for tenants that have over 4 family members to 1. Mine with all this going on the infestation of roaches and mice have continued. They only have 2 workers to maintain a complex of over 100 apartments. My partner ended up committing suicide due to the fact he was scared I might die first since I was older. Finally I had enough!!!! Got help from my family and friends and refused to pay them not one cent. They proceeded to evict me. But I beat them to it! I moved last weekend!! I have all the pictures and videos on YouTube and Facebook! So you can see for yourselves that I am telling the TRUTH!!! In YouTube, in the search "Living at the Amberstone apt" I have over 5 videos and pictures of this disgusting place which the health department of Broward should investigate. As of this writing all my information is being sent to all news TV stations In South Florida and Tallahassee, should nothing happen, you know now the slumlords in Florida have bought all the state and local politicians.
