This community is a great value for the area. Could use some updating. While the neighbors are on the younger side, I rarely hear noise. The staff is the best part as they are very nice and extremely responsive. If you are looking for Granite, Hardwood Floors, etc you won't find it here. You will find good square footage in a great area at an affordable price

Katie was very helpful in both giving me a tour and answering questions before I signed a lease. The grounds are beautiful and so far, I've very much enjoyed living at Post Gardens. They also have resident social events 3 times a month which is fun

The area is pretty amazing and the value is there. It isn't perfect but it's hard to beat the price/location of this one. Noise is very minimal and neighbors are friendly. Family friendly but also has a nice party atmosphere for 20 somethings. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have enjoyed living here, but had a few maintenance issues right at the beginning of move-in. After 3 maintenance requests, the problem was fixed but it was a hassle to have to repeatedly deal with.

Air conditioning needs to be fixed-I have had maintenance come to my apartment to fix it and they come but never fix it. It took 2-3 times for them to fix our air in the living room and still doesn't work in the master bedroom

I just moved in and am extremely pleased with the overall look and feel of Post Gardens @ Lenox Park. The customer service experience has been second to none... from my initial visit to my occupancy walk through. The management and staff are highly professional and attentive to my needs and are very responsive. I would recommend Post Gardens if you want a well manicured and great location near the heart of Buckhead. They are older than some of the other options I explored but the value and the attention to maintenance and landscaping make this option well worth it! Brian D., new resident

I've had a great experience at Post Gardens! The location and staff are awesome with paying half the price of what other apartments in Buckhead are going for. Although you aren't getting brand new..I'd rather live in an great location in a not brand new apartment and save tons. The landscaping is beautiful!!! The property can get messy on a Saturday night because people can be careless with their trash but it's always picked up ASAP by the groundskeepers. Oh, and the maintenance guys are SO quick and friendly. Any issue I have is taken care of within 24 hours Overall great experience.

I can't say enough good things about Post Gardens. It is convenient to everything, yet still on a quiet, tree-lined street (with a beautiful park right across the street.) The staff is friendly, informed, and professional and the few times I have had to request maintenance, they took care of my problem right away. My favorite part, though, is the landscaping - the grounds are beautiful and the pool is a little bit of Paradise. With my huge walk-in closets, a double sink in my bathroom, and my view of trees and sky, I may never leave.

The complex itself is great - they maintain the grounds well, pool and workout room are outstanding, tennis courts are above average. But the apartments themselves are just ok. Everything works fine, but it's all the bare minimum. Appliances aren't great, but they work; flooring is kind of cheap, but it's not terrible. You're paying a lot for the facilities rather than the apartment itself. Comments about the train are very accurate. We live in the back and the trains are extremely loud. Haven't used our patio once because you can't even hear yourself think when a train comes by - and they come by pretty frequently. If anything, this was the deal-breaker. My other complaint is typical for most apartments. These guys are out to make a profit. They WILL raise your rent significantly every time you want to resign a new lease. They have very little, if any, sense of customer loyalty. They know that if you leave, they can fill your apartment in less than a month. Bottom line - this place is ok. But I've been to dozens of other apartments and condos in this area and you can do better.

Great place. Safe neighborhood, outstanding location close to expressway, Lenox Square, MARTA. Pay a fraction of what others in the same radius are paying to be close to Buckhead. Staff is outstanding- have never experienced anything but outstanding friendly customer service.

My husband and I have had an excellent experience at Post Gardens. This is the second Post property I have lived at in Atlanta, and cannot say enough about the quality of living, customer service and dedication of its staff at both properties. We have known Mary Brittain, the property manager, for two years and she is outstanding! Post Gardens is a beautiful complex, and located right in the heart of Buckhead for those that work and play in the area. Lenox Park is a great park for dog walking, running, relaxing, and it's a short distance from the property. I have always felt safe and valued at Post Gardens. You will frequently see a grounds officer walking around at night, and the garage and grounds are always well lit. Post Gardens has a Cares Team, which host 3 events a month, and contributes to the overall sense of community. We enjoyed being close to the park, the car care center, the brand new grills, quality tennis courts, beautiful pool and garden areas. Maintenance was always on time, curteous, and performed great work. We have no complaints about living at Post Gardens. It has been a wonderful place to live!!

This is the worst experience. Period. You can hear every step your neighbor takes, even the softer one. We decided to sleep in the living because it's just impossible in our bedroom. We have two kids, they weights like 40 pounds... and the neighbor below keeps complaining about their "hard steps". Gimme a break. Today they were playing on the computer and she complained again! Everything looks cool but it's cheap: Furniture, sink, kitchen, carpets. Extremely cheap. Will break even with the best care. And if you want to ask a transfer for another appartment? You need to pay a $350 transfer fee (today, 11/19/12) plus another deposit and another leasing fee... And my previous deposit? In 30 days at least.

Post Gardens is a great apartment complex. My ground floor apartment is quiet, the appliances and fixtures work well, and I havent seen a bug since I moved in 6 months ago. The staff are fantastic. They are very professional and treat everyone with courtesy and warmth. All maintenance issues get solved within a day. The Post garden grounds are beautifully maintained with ample places to entertain guests. My friends want to visit me just to hang out in the verandah and pool. The gym is stocked with new equipment with personal TVs on treadmills and exercise equipment. The rent is affordable, and all things considered this is the best apartment in the Lenox Park and Buckhead nbhd.

The apartments have had a flurry of break-ins over the summer--around five or six in just a couple of months. There have been so many, in fact, that the office stopped printing notices and putting them on our doors because they were wasting so much paper. You can definitely find nicer, safer, cheaper places in Atlanta. If I'm going to pay $1500/mo in rent, I at least want to know that I'm safe. The front office staff is difficult and goal-oriented in terms of making sure apartments are leased rather than making sure residents are happy.

I've never had a worse experience living in an apartment. I had 3 water damage incidents that required me to stay elsewhere multiple times for days at a time, and while the maintenance staff was helpful, the office staff didn't go out of their way to do anything given this major and repeated inconvenience. There are much nicer apartment complexes in Atlanta. Would not recommend it.

Proceed with caution
I put my deposit down online for what was supposed to be a 1112 sq ft unit and it turned out to be 842 after I measured it. The manager told me that the constructors of the building measured my unit from the outside to come up with that figure and that it INCLUDED the exterior walls and insulation. Seriously? The staff seems pretty friendly but was unwilling to work with me on the square footage discrepancy. I always hear my upstairs neighbors and late at night I hear a lot of the foot traffic outside of my windows that wakes me up. This place is close to a lot but nothing is within walking distance, except the AT&T building. Be careful in the parking garage when going up and down the levels. The turns are tight and I have seen near accidents several times. There is only 1 dumpster for the entire complex so you have to either put your trash in your car or hike for a bit if you don't live close it. Some people just leave their trash in the hallway. I started looking at condos as soon as I movedā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Avoid the ground floor!
I've lived in Post Gardens for two years now, and have a love/hate relationship with the complex. It's convenient to a lot of places (Publix, I-85, the mall, Buckhead/Midtown, etc.). But, I feel like there are other apartment complexes in Lenox Park that provide similar amenities and convenience for a lower price. Like many other large apartment complexes, the walls are thin and you can hear what your neighbors are doing at any given time. I have lived in two different apartments in Post Gardens - a one bedroom on an upper floor and a two bedroom on the ground level. If you can avoid living in a ground level apartment, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it. The upstairs neighbors are loud (and management couldn't do anything about them), there are bug issues (I have called maintenance many times to come spray the apartment), and we have mold growing on our windows (management just told us to wipe down our windows and clean them with bleach). I didn't have quite as many problems living in my upper floor apartment. But, I will mention that since almost all apartments face into the courtyard, be aware that it can get loud on theā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Nice Place, LOUD train
This apartment complex is pretty nice. Well maintained grounds, nice pool, nice workout room. Rates are pretty reasonable. Maintenance is fantastic, always willing to help. Lots of young people. Parking decks are great. Good location, safe area. BUT - do not live on the backside of this place. There are MARTA and regular railroad tracks running behind this place. The staff here will tell you that the train isn't loud, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The Marta trains aren't loud, but the regular trains are VERY loud. For the first 5-8 months I lived here, theses trains woke me up half a dozen times every single night/morning. Even after living here for a year, we still have to turn up the TV by about 20% when a train comes by. I never use our great balcony or open our windows because it's ruined by the obnoxiously loud train. So if you can get an apartment near the front of the complex - great, go for it. But these apartments on the backside have to deal with the EXTREMELY loud trains.

Awesome service, location, and community!
I moved here in July, and have loved it here! The location is perfect...right next to the heart of Buckhead, but JUST tucked away enough in Lenox Park for it to feel residential and homey. I take MARTA every day to work in Midtown, and it's about a 10 minute walk or 90 second drive (if you want to park at Lenox station). Honestly though, it's the apartment staff and the community I love the most about Post Gardens. The staff have been very sweet to me, have responded to every maintenance request within a day, and I have met a lot of great friends through events hosted by the Cares staff. Of course, it's not perfect, but no complex is. I'd probably give it a 4.5 if that was an option, but would rather round up than down! If you prioritize amenities, granite countertops, etc, it's not the best value. You can definitely get more for your money in that respect. But, I've met at least 3 others here who moved from other Lenox Park apartments and they said they have been much happier with Post Gardens. I'd rather be happy withā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Beautiful Complex/ Party Weekends
I fell in love with the complex when I saw it, the grounds are beautiful and the apartments are very nice. I moved here from OTP and have really enjoyed the convenience of the location. The traffic does get heavy on P'tree and around malls, but that is to be expected. The staff has been pleasant every time I have interacted with them. Maintenance requests have been responded to quickly and usually resolved in one trip with a note left behind with who was there and what the did. I live in a ground level and AT&T cell does not work in apartment, you have to walk out to pool/courtyard area. I don't really hear noise from my neighbors but I do hear my upstairs neighbor walking around and you hear people in the hallways when they come in late from a night out and being over served. In nice weather there is a party every weekend at the pool usually moves to the courtyard by the grills. I do not live right by the pool or grills and I can usually hear them partying. Another reviewed mentioned the beerā¦Ā See More>Traditional 1x1 799-814 SF
