I lived here 6 years ago and relocated to another city which caused me to move out the first time. I recently moved back to Atlanta and was searching like crazy to find a place to live. I kept reading all these bad reviews about other properties and got nervous. I had toured about 5 different places until I decided to look at Post Gardens again. When I walked in, it was like nothing changed. Everyone was still friendly and helpful. I'm sure within 6 years they've had a change in agents. Darha was wonderful and made me feel at home again. After that I was sold and moved back in. When I first moved in I had to get maintenance to fix the heater which was completed immediately. It's safe and gated with one main gate for visitors. The only thing is you can hear people talking outside but that doesn't bother me. I'm not one of those people to complain about petty things. I've also notice a mix in ages, with young and older professionals. If I had to complain about anything it would be they don't have valet trash service and that's just because I hate taking trash out. Overall I love it still and I'm glad I came back.
UPDATE: So I have now lived here for a year and still haven't had any issues with the exception of they want me to renew my lease with a 10% increase. Most apartment properties do 3-5% but 10% is Alittle too much for my apartment not being one of the remodeled ones. I still think the office staff is still friendly but the reason they gave me for the increase was that is what someone new renting would be paying.. ????? Which I understand, but I'm a current resident. Also there has been way too many break ins. I remember the first time living here they had a guard at the gate to check all visitors in. Overall still like living here but not liking the fact that loyal residents are getting a 10% increase to renew my lease, so it might be time to leave post gardens.
