I will start by saying that typically I don't write reviews unless I have a very strong opinion re: a situation and this case is no exception. I have lived at Post Gardens for 2 years and will not be renewing my lease. Although it is in a wonderful location and close to work it has been by far the most unpleasant apartment living experience in my years in Atlanta. I have long graduated college but I feel like I'm back in a dorm...ignorant residents come in at all times of the night yelling and screaming on the wknds like they're at a frat party!! Forget living near the staircase bc the parking garage is connected to the apartments and it sounds like elephants running up and down the stairs all day..not to mention upstairs neighbors that walk so loud that you know when they come home and what room they're in. I have lived in south atlanta and by far this complex has had the most break-ins in comparison. I can't even tell you how many emails I received re: break ins and when I expressed concern to the leasing manager in person and said this is becoming too common and I'm concerned...she got an attitude. Also if the thefts are occurring on first floor apartments...during the day when the residents aren't home..and only small electronics like apple products are being stolen...seems like an inside job to me. Like most places the rent has gone from pricey but doable to ridiculous. If you are a 21 year old college student this is the place for you...but for a young professional or family...not so much.
