Overall, a good experience, with one exception. Lately they have started booting our cars. In my case, my car is parked in my assigned parking space. The parking garage is gated, and you need a fob to enter. My car is registered with the front office as belonging to me, a resident that has lived here for two years now. And last night they booted it because I forgot to put my parking tag on my dashboard. The money this cost me, and the time wasted dealing with this negates every positive thing about this place. I am so mad that I will never sign a lease here again. If they care about the residents, then they wouldn&apos;t boot my car in my assigned parking space. I will update my review if they try to resolve this issue... But until then, 1 star for every category.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been here less than a year in the shorter building and can NOT wait to get out! I&apos;m stuck until 1/30/21. If you like to party, listen to loud music, and smoke weed, this is the place for you!! I have been trying to handle this without posting a negative review, but I&apos;ve had enough! TLDR: AWFUL staff, NOISY, broken gates/elevators, trash left in the halls, dog park is unusable because it is always full of poop, smells like weed. Here are a few things I have been dealing with: 1) Rude and incompetent staff. They harassed the professional movers on move in day so badly that it turned a 4 hour job into 8. They slammed the door in their face with a hand truck full of boxes. Staff is always too busy to deal with anyone that is already a resident. 2) I cut my finger open due to their negligence. On the walk through before move-in, we noted that there was something sticky on the floor in front of the fridge that needed to be cleaned. I brought it to their attention and it STILL wasn&apos;t taken care of, so I decided to do it myself. Little did I know there was broken glass under the fridge and cut my finger open. 3) They gave us a dirty apartment - there were bugs on the windowsills and the toilets were dirty. There was also something very sticky all over the kitchen cabinets - it&apos;s still sticky almost a year later. 4) The walls are SUPER thin. You will hear the TV from the person on the floor above or below you and when you call in to complain, the courtesy officer never responds and you&apos;re pretty much called a liar about it happening. I gave the property manager video proof of it happening AND the concierge manager verified it herself, yet I&apos;m still being called a liar and being told that it is a &quot;possible source&quot; of the noise. This has been going on for MONTHS now to the point that it is affecting my health. This neighbor starts blasting TV around midnight and carries on until 7 or 8 AM. They also blast it during the day. Blanket noise reminders haven&apos;t gone out since May, either. 5) The elevators are always broken, so are the gates to get in and out of the parking garage. Nobody ever picks up after their dog in the tiny little dog park even though the apartment provides bags in stations all over the complex. I have complained to corporate multiple times with no response. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have lived in, especially for the amount of rent we are being charged!

This has been one of the most unpleasant living experiences I&apos;ve ever had to endure. As you can see from the photos below there have been several burglaries, car break ins, fights, and crimes here at MAA Lenox. I urge you for your own safety, STAY AWAY. It has honestly impacted my daily living as well. I&apos;m afraid to go to my car late at night, or come home too late for fear of being attacked or robbed. I love natural lighting but I do not leave my blinds open at all due to safety precautions. I do not want anyone being able to look inside my apartment. I also used to enjoy my 5am gym workouts. But nope, not anymore. I dare not be walking around on this property when its dark outside. After all the many robberies and break-ins the company does nothing to even try to make the property safer to live on. They said they would have security but I have seen no security here on this property. Their means of &quot;security&quot; has been to hire a company to put boots on residents cars which to me does not solve the problem. My boyfriend and I were in a car accident. His car had to be towed to be fixed. Inside of his car was his car tag. After the shock of being hit, we weren&apos;t thinking to grab the car tag which goes on the inside of the car. So we have a rental and no car tag inside it, so it got booted. After speaking with the staff here all they could say was &quot;sorry&quot; and that &quot;we should have come ask for a temporary tag&quot;. We didn&apos;t even know there was a such thing as temporary tags. Also we have been physically, mentally, and financially impacted by the car accident. The last thing we were thinking about is a car tag. We received no understanding at all, just &quot;sorry&quot;. Mind you the car was parked in his own spot that he pays $50 per month for. But due to not having the tag, he had to pay to get it removed. The only thing great about this place is the look of it. It looks amazing and definitely gives a luxury feel. But please don&apos;t let that fool you. Yes the pool, balcony, and gym is nice but who cares if it&apos;s not safe enough to really enjoy it. Prior to the boot situation we were already looking to moving. But now we&apos;re expediting the process. MOVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK

It's been a great home experience so far. Maintenance is pretty much right away! The community is quiet, great location and easy access to GA 400 and I85. We're one block from Lenox Square and across Phipps Plaza. Publix, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods are two blocks away. The building is clean and has a great appearance. The sunset from the terrace is breathtaking and I like the glass walls from living and dining rooms. I get to midtown within 10-15 minutes. You pay separately for parking, so your assigned spot is only yours. Parking for guests can be a challenge sometimes.  Administration and staff are friendly, I like living here!

very clean. well managed community. you will feel very safe in this community. Everywhere is freshly painted and you won't know this apartment has been built for several years. The staff level is friendly. The manager is tough and indifferent. that is the only downside.

I have resided here for two years and just signed a new lease. Management has always responded in a courtias and professional manner in resolving any prooblems I might have. A very comfortable environment to call home.

Amazing place to live especially if it is your first time in Atlanta. Highly recommend anyone from anyone to these apartments. Has quick turn around in regards to any assistance and also performs a follow up to ensure satisfactory.

The staff here is excellent. They are so helpful an patience. My move in was easy an fast. This build is Quiet, secure, clean, great staff an it gives me a peace of mind. I love the area plenty shopping an eating places right by it.

My experience here has been terrible. My storage unit was broken into the leasing office never told me a maintenance man told me on the elevator. I was threatened by the leasing manager Marcus that if I left another bad review it wouldnâ€™t be good for me. He then sent me a letter stating that he was terminating my lease. A week later another rep calls me apologizes for the way things were handled and says you donâ€™t have to leave. This morning I wake up go to my new corvette and I see the windshield has been smashed. After threatening me now this happened. I donâ€™t feel safe here at my home where Iâ€™ve lived for 3 years.

Very helpful staff, an great location. Easy leasing options, an very well priced. The building is always clean an spotless. Easy access elevator for move ins. The views are amazing the higher up you go.

If the apathy towards car break-ins, excessive trash/uncleanliness, and murders on the property wasn&apos;t enough, MAA Lenoxâ€™s response to mold growth in my unit and multiple neighboring units (resulting from a fire two floors above) forced me to terminate my lease early after 4 years of residency (which is a penalty of 4 months rent). I incurred significant damage to my personal property, and ALMOST EVERY article of clothing and luggage I own had to be professionally cleaned by a restoration company or thrown away. Their only solution was to have me engage my renters insurance for the damage, however, their failure to cooperate with the insurance company resulted in my claim being completely denied (after multiple appeals). They had the nerve to suggest I was negligent in allowing my apartment to get humid enough to facilitate the degree of mold growth shown in the attached photo (which is patently insane given this all occurred very quickly within a 2-3 week span) and obviously was not isolated to my one unit. Upon further inspection of my entire unit, I discovered mold growth surrounding my bed and mattress, which very likely contributed to me getting sick as I moved my remaining items out of the unit. I am very clean person, and even had a cleaner come twice a month, so to suggest this is all resulting from my sheer negligences is ridiculous. The property manager (Maliyah Jordan) even had the audacity to pull out a map and point to my unit, suggesting there was no possible way for the water from the sprinkler systems to travel over to my unit. Water travels downwards in very unpredictable ways, and clearly has created significant damage to the exterior of the unit directly above mine (see photos), within my closet, and to neighboring units. When mentioning this to her and asking her to explain how my neighbors were negligent in allowing their units to also get to that state as well, you could tell she was reading from a script and advised â€œI am unable to comment, corporate would have to speak to thatâ€�. I guess this is the level of service you get with a large national REITâ€¦.I would love to see what the interior of the above unit looked like, however, that unit was â€œcoincidentallyâ€� vacant, along with others surrounding me. I very politely requested documentation showing the efforts taken to remediate the damaged units after the fire. I was told by Ms Jordan that she would need to obtain this information from corporate. Despite multiple follow ups, this information was never provided. The turnover in property management is laughable, and has clearly fostered incompetent personnel to run this place into the ground (with the exception of one leasing agent who has been relatively helpful over the years). I have never in my life received the level of disrespect throughout this process (especially after approaching this matter very sensibly and rationally), and would not recommend this complex to my very worst enemy. I feel very bad for the nice girl who moved into one of the units directly below where the fire occurred, and even after the unit was gutted, she was still encountering severe mold issues in her unit at the time of my move out (also stemming from her HVAC system). There is clearly an inherent problem with their sprinkler/HVAC systems, and it is incredibly discouraging to know damage from mold growth is typically very scarce in renters insurance policies ($5K at the most) and requires cooperation from property management/their vendors to determine the underlying cause (ironically the same vendors who conducted the remediation after the fire). Even if you comply with the stringent &quot;Mold&quot; requirements within their lease, it makes me sick to my stomach knowing others will very likely encounter this same scenario in due time. The one positive initiative from property management after Post Properties was sold was the implementation of Parkeaz, which significantly reduced the amount of traffic and congregation of non-residents around the premises. However, this initiative has also enabled booting companies to rampantly prey on not only guests, but also tenants that are parked legally. MAA clearly has no intentions of making material improvements to the community from a safety perspective, as they evidently have exhausted their entire yearly budget on one security camera in the cul-de-sac. As referenced in multiple other posts, the gates to the parking garage and elevators are consistently broken. If your car gets broken into, they tell you to file a police report and to just deal with it. Packages get stolen? â€œOh, weâ€™re sorryâ€�. Apparently if your storage unit gets broken into, it will take them three weeks to inform you. Constant donuts in the cul-de-sac keeping you up at night? â€œPolice officers/security guards on-site wouldnâ€™t actually deter this type of behaviorâ€�. Trying to get an overnight parking pass for a guest who was trapped inside the development after an indivudal was murdered and the property was blocked off/became an active crime scene? Met with complete rudeness and bold-faced lies from the concierge, advising there was nothing going on or to worry about. I very politely showed them the videos/pictures from atlscoop (instagram page), showing the deceased victim covered up and a crying baby who unfortunately was in the car, but thankfully unharmed. Upon the conclusion of my final conversation with Ms. Jordan, she ended the discussion with â€œWell if we are finished here, I will get back to my dayâ€�, evidencing the level of concern she has towards her residences going through a VERY difficult time, and where her priorities lie as a property manager. You can take the generic/lackluster responses to the other constructive feedback on this thread as a small indication of how they value the wellbeing of their tenants. I mean this in the most sincere way possibleâ€¦.AVOID THIS COMMUNITY AND OTHER MAA PROPERTIES AT ALL COST!! I very much hope this post helps make prospective tenants reconsider their decision to move into such an abysmal property, and encourage current residents to non-renew their leases. I really wish I could provide more photos/leave contact information on this thread, as I would be able to talk you out of signing here within 45 seconds. Do yourself a favor and go read all of the reviews on google and yelp...they will paint a very similar story.

New to Atlanta.. moved right into, Buckhead.. it's pretty. But everything living here seems to be all about aesthetics pleasing.. great for promo..
Not at all a real living space. You pay way tooo much for the minor things to go wrong, closet door and as locked. Brand new fridge didn't make ice.. came to "fix" it after the 4th failed time they replaced my entire BROKE fridge from another unit.. only because trying to fix the fridge ended up melting and everything in my freezer. MAA Lenoxs at fault but asked me to file a renters claim to replace all my ruined groceries. (HAPPENED all within 2 months moving in)  I can show my work orders. Big roaches everywheree even near the pool. It can take you 15 mins to get to 1 out if 3 working elevators. I wish I read reviews before I signed d this lease.

My wife and I were very disappointed with the condition of the apartment on move-in day. The apartment was definitely not mov-in ready! The oven was filthy; the blinds were filthy and damaged; the garbage disposal was damaged; the kitchen sink sprayer was damaged; the shower handle was not attached; the washer drain hose was not placed in the drain; the dryer duct hose was not attached; the refrigerator was leaking water and is still leaking water. These were just some of the issues. As a real estate investor, I did not expect a rental unit in Buckhead to turn into a rehab project.

Another update: The booting here is so annoying. I totally understand being booted if you donâ€™t have a parking pass or are parked somewhere youâ€™re not allowed to. But my guest was parked in the guest parking lot WITH a parking pass and randomly got booted, which made them late for work. They didnâ€™t have to pay because it was a mistake, but it was a huge inconvenience and embarrassing for me. How do you just accidentally boot a car that has a parking pass and is parked in the designated guest area? Update (2 years later): I still hate living here. The key thing is so annoying. The website says the gym is open 24 hours but they decided to start locking the doors at night and gave no notice or announcement of this change. Itâ€™s unclear what the hours even are. I got all ready to workout just to not even be able to workout and the concierge couldnâ€™t get me in either. Also the door where the dog park is doesnâ€™t work in the morning. And Iâ€™m not talking about unreasonably early hours of the morning. Iâ€™m talking about 8am. So if you go out that door to take your dog out, you have to go back in by walking up to the lobby or going through the parking garage (which sometimes doesnâ€™t work either). Itâ€™s also unclear what hours the door works so itâ€™s risky taking your dog out in the morning. If they really have to do these things like locking the gym even though the website says itâ€™s 24 hours, the least they could do is tell us the hours. But no, they canâ€™t even do that. Also my car got broken into while inside the resident parking garage. The person ripped the ignition out and my insurance said my car was totaled. Apparently the gate and security do nothing. The apartment was unhelpful and barely sympathetic in all of this. Also in the summer while me and my friends were at the pool, there happened to be a pool party going on with a ton of people. We were not a part of any of the parties. Someone told us the cops had been called and most people started to leave since they were not residents or rightful guests. My friends and I stayed since we had a right to be there and hadnâ€™t done anything wrong and were just there to lay out and relax. Security and a police officer came and told us we had to leave. It wouldâ€™ve been fine if they made everyone leave and cleared the whole pool area to clean or something. However, they told this white family they could stay. They made everyone else leave tho. Iâ€™m never one to pull the race card, but I just find it odd how they explicitly made everyone leave except the white people. Sucks that I was made to leave the pool at my apartment that I pay for when me and my guests had done nothing wrong. Original review: The package situation here is literally the worst. I have Amazon packages delivered all the time and sometimes Amazon will say it was handed directly to a receptionist at the front desk. I always make sure to throughly check my mailbox and both package rooms before asking at the concierge. Thereâ€™s like a separate stash of packages in this room behind the front desk that the staff person has to go through. When you ask at the front, they tell you to check the mailroom and when you tell them you already did, they say to contact Amazon. If theyâ€™re nice theyâ€™ll check in their room behind the desk for you, and about 5/5 times thatâ€™s exactly where my package was. Right where Amazon said it was. I donâ€™t see why they canâ€™t just take all those packages and put them in the package room along with all the other packages on the floor so I could at least retrieve my package myself in a timely manner. Some staff are super unhelpful and wonâ€™t even check for you, and itâ€™s not like you can go behind the desk and check yourself. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you have packages delivered often for your business that you need at a certain time, itâ€™s extremely inconvenient. It doesnâ€™t even seem worth complaining to MAA because theyâ€™ll probably say something like â€œconsider having important packages delivered to another address or held at the local post officeâ€�. Besides the package issue, my washer has broken like 3x, my sink became loose then started leaking, the windows (which do not open at all) allow water to come through when it rains, and the key you have to use for common areas does not work half the time. Canâ€™t wait until my lease here is over.

Hate it here

Experience has been subpar. Would not recommended for people thinking they will be moving into a luxurious clean environment. The exit way to side door on P3 is always disgusting, smells like pee always. The side turf is never cleaned. Unfortunately falls on the lazy dog owners that never pick up but management should do something regardless. Floors on the floors and elevator are always gross as well.

Would not recommend. I haven't had a washer and dryer for 20 days now and have no idea when it will be replaced. I can't keep doing my laundry in random apartments because new tenants keep moving in them and I am not told when they move in. My car also got broken into and the apartment was very unsupportive.
