This has been one of the most unpleasant living experiences I've ever had to endure. As you can see from the photos below there have been several burglaries, car break ins, fights, and crimes here at MAA Lenox. I urge you for your own safety, STAY AWAY. It has honestly impacted my daily living as well. I'm afraid to go to my car late at night, or come home too late for fear of being attacked or robbed. I love natural lighting but I do not leave my blinds open at all due to safety precautions. I do not want anyone being able to look inside my apartment. I also used to enjoy my 5am gym workouts. But nope, not anymore. I dare not be walking around on this property when its dark outside. After all the many robberies and break-ins the company does nothing to even try to make the property safer to live on. They said they would have security but I have seen no security here on this property. Their means of "security" has been to hire a company to put boots on residents cars which to me does not solve the problem. My boyfriend and I were in a car accident. His car had to be towed to be fixed. Inside of his car was his car tag. After the shock of being hit, we weren't thinking to grab the car tag which goes on the inside of the car. So we have a rental and no car tag inside it, so it got booted. After speaking with the staff here all they could say was "sorry" and that "we should have come ask for a temporary tag". We didn't even know there was a such thing as temporary tags. Also we have been physically, mentally, and financially impacted by the car accident. The last thing we were thinking about is a car tag. We received no understanding at all, just "sorry". Mind you the car was parked in his own spot that he pays $50 per month for. But due to not having the tag, he had to pay to get it removed. The only thing great about this place is the look of it. It looks amazing and definitely gives a luxury feel. But please don't let that fool you. Yes the pool, balcony, and gym is nice but who cares if it's not safe enough to really enjoy it. Prior to the boot situation we were already looking to moving. But now we're expediting the process.
