**** I want to start off saying this; People who blog on apartmentratings.com are usually upset or irritated with something that was or wasn't done in their apartment community.**** Windmont apartments are in pretty good condition. The staff is friendly, and they handle all maintenance issues in a timely manner. My apartment is spacious and I love my view of the pool. The rent is ok for the area. Yes I have had a battle with ants in the summer months a time or 2, but the exterminator comes every Friday. I hate my Berber carpet and I wish the appliances were newer but you cannot win them all. Parking is ok, during the week if you come in after 9 you might have not be able to park right in front of your building but there are other places to park. Sometimes my neighbor plays his guitar but never late at night or for long periods of time. We also have a police officer on site so I feel safe. I have been here 2 years and there was only one major crime event that happened. (That s excellent for anywhere in Atlanta). It's nice because it is convenient to downtown and very close to the mall. I just wanted to put my view out there and let people on the net know that there are content people that live in apartment communities.
