Been here a year

For all of you skeptics I AM an actual resident here. I just renewed my lease so I will be a resident for another year. The pros: The staff really seem to want to help. They have actually called me to see if there was anything that they need to do. Any maintenance requests have been taken care of the same day they were submitted. The grounds (at least where I am) are pretty clean. They air-vac the breezeways about once a week or so. Anne-Marie knows me by name. There has only been one break in since I got here. My apartment is pretty big for the price. My neighbors are pretty quiet. I hear the people next to me sometimes, but never at night and I very rarely hear the person above me. Plus...I haven't had an energy bill over $62. The cons: I really hate the berber carpet. I seriously have to vacuum every day. My appliances are old so that kinda stinks. I would LOVE new ones. My countertops don't have any damage though. I have been the occassional roach last summer. I had them come BEFORE spring to spray. My apartment faces the road so if I open my patio door there is quite a bit of noise. Parking by my apartment is not that big of a deal. There is usually one right by the buidling, but if not there is one pretty close. All in all...not too bad. It would be much nicer with new appliances. My neighbors are nice and quiet and the price is right. Maintence is friendly and always get to things quickly. I used to live in Virgina Highlands and paid twice as much and I didn't get the same service, there were loud parties at all hours, our property was always littered with cigarette butts, and our energy bills were outrageous. If you are looking for a lot of glam with the latest features then this property probably isn't for you. If you need a nice, clean, safe place to live at a decent price you should check them out.
