Honestly these apartments themselves are not that bad, but they are over priced. I moved wanting to be closer to work and I checked out all of the apartment complexes that are in this area of clairmont rd. at the time the complex was owned by tempo properties and Ann Marie and Ludna were awesome! This place was recommended from one of my co workers who lived here, however her unit is much cheaper than mine we are talking mid 500's yet mine runs almost $800 for a 1 bedroom. I took it because it was the only thing available when I needed to move but have been very disappointed with the complex in large. In my unit I have experienced problems with ants, noise from the idiots below me who like to play their music extremely loud or hold conversations on the stairs, children running around.
Since living here the complex is now run by Pegasus residential and at first seemed like they would be ok. That is false, the staff in the office are overall professional but not real warm and inviting like the Tempo property workers, I think they need to hire more workers since apparently everyone is too busy to answer phone calls, and when I need to retrieve a package from the office I usually end up waiting for a few days to actually get it because whenever you go to the office the door is locked and no one is inside even during office hours. I've started having packages sent to work instead. My biggest complaint is the absurd $10 fee added when you pay your rent online, seriously? In this day in age of technology that should be a free service, I'm getting penalized for paying you. Also when I had a service request I specifically asked for no one to enter my unit when I'm not home, guess what they certainly did enter my unit without me being home.
So would I recommend this place, not for the cost. Your Georgia power will run you at least $100 a month, your rent is over priced, you can't easily get in touch with staff, noisy neighbors (at least in my area) left side. Oh and the amenities included do not justify the rent, a small pool usually filled with kids, an itsy bitsy fitness center 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and a stationary bike. Take into consideration you are on clairmont rd so you will hear traffic.
