Wouldn't rent here again

Upon moving in, my apartment was nice and clean, but with a few permanent stains in the carpet and bathroom. The air filter had not been changed in years, and there was a funny smell like something had crawled into an air vent and died. I tried repeatedly to get the air filter replaced and it finally was after the third call, but not until a few days after. The maintenance staff is very slow and uncaring.<br><br>After I had already decided to move in, I was informed that I needed to pay an extra few hundred dollars on my security deposit because I had been living in a house rather than an apartment prior to moving in. This was in spite of the fact that my credit was great. I'm not keen on letting someone else hold on to my money for no good reason.<br><br>Finally, after living here a year and paying my rent on time every month, I was rewarded with a rate hike of almost $100 for the next year. So much for tennant loyalty. If they want to push out responsible tennants with ridiculous rate hikes, I won't fight back.<br><br>Suck an egg Windcrap.
