Let me start off by saying that the apartment I was given was not the apartment shown to me in February 2016. Let’s just say this began a horror of experiences while living at Atlantic Brookhaven. The power in the apartment consistently went out in my living room & kitchen throughout my year of being there causing my groceries to constantly spoil. I notified mateinence & all they do is leave notes saying they changed the breaker, but clearly that didn’t fix the problem. The apartment would be having mandatory inspections meaning ppl would enter my apartment while my alarm would be set, mind you when you first sign your lease they ask for your alarm code. The police would show up thinking someone broke in the apartment & warned me the third time that if it happened again I would be charged. I also referred my friend & when he got in his apartment there were roaches in his sink. Finally today, I go to the leasing office to turn in my keys, we go for a walk through & the gentleman who works in the leasing office stated that the apartment needed to be professionally cleaned & it was in my contract. I reviewed my contract & advised that nowhere did it state that it needed to be professionally cleaned. I asked them to show me where it stated that & him nor the manager could show where it stated that. If it needed to be professionally cleaned that’s not something you notify a person the day of them handing over the keys. ALSO, they changed management but never notified the tenants. You can never get in touch with the leasing office via phone when you need too & this is prior to the mateinance room having an electrical fire. Lol. I wouldn’t suggest anyone living here. It’s definitely not even worth the money.
